Although we have grown steadily in the number of patients and staff, and in the level of technology we offer your pets, we still have the same principles supporting everything we do β that patient care comes first. We will treat each one as if they were our own. We firmly believe that an animal that is comfortable and unstressed is not only easier to handle and treat, but is also in a better physi
ological state for healing and recovery. This is reflected in everything from our clinic design, to all the little things we do to make each visit of your pet as relaxed as it can be.

***UPDATE - NEW HOME FOUND πππ***
CAT LIKELY NEEDING A SPECIAL NEW FOREVER HOME
We have had no luck so far in finding either an owner or a rescue option for this handsome timid young boy, so are considering his future. We would LOVE to find a special person who is willing and able to invest lots of gentle quiet time to earn his trust. Best suited to a home where he is the only pet. He would need to be kept strictly inside until well settled. Are you that special patient someone? Give us a call on 09 4269950 if you could be interested.
π± In appreciation of feline fur babies π±
International Cat Day was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare, to raise awareness for cats and learn about ways to help and protect them.
We know how well-loved our feline patients are, but not all cats are so lucky. A big shout-out to all the fabulous cat rescues and SPCA facilities caring for the less fortunate ones - we really appreciate all the work they do π
We appreciate that your furbaby getting sick or injured can put a strain on finances, especially in these tough times. Afterpay allows you to pay in four instalments over six weeks. No interest is charged, and no fees are added so long as you pay on-time.

Our senior pets might have more than a few grey whiskers, but they're not a fan of slowing down. Donβt let aches and pains hold them back from chasing their favourite toy, book an osteoarthritis consultation if you are concerned about your pet.
Chocolate contains caffeine and theobromine (a chemical compound found in the cacao plant), which can be fatal to our pets. It is important to keep chocolate out of reach of your pet. If you do suspect your pet may have eaten some chocolate, call us straight away (09 4269950), as symptoms can take up to three hours to show. Some symptoms to look out for include: Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Increased urination, Restlessness, Hyperactivity, Twitching, And in severe cases, seizures.
Warm fuzzy for the day... gorgeous Lulu was soooo smoochy when she woke up after her dental (yes she still had medication in her system!) ππΎ
We are passionate about dental care! We recommend yearly dental checks to make sure we pick up any concerns early. TIP: schedule this six months after a vaccination, so your pet's teeth are being examined at least twice a year. Take advantage of our FREE dental assessments - call us on 09 4269950 to book an appointment to see one of our friendly nurses.
We appreciate that (just like dental treatment for ourselves) having your cat or dog's teeth scaled and polished, x-rays taken (if required), and sometimes extractions... then add in the need for a carefully monitored general anaesthetic... doesn't come cheap. However proper dental care is one of the foundations of maintaining good overall health for your pet. If this is something you have been saving up for, or putting off, take advantage of our August promotion!
ARTHRITIS Many cats are suffering in silence... β¦and while we canβt stop the disease, we can manage the pain and give cats a good quality of life. Recognising and treating pain can help restore the important bond between you and your cat. Book an appointment today, if you think your older fur-baby has mobility issues. Call us on 09 4269950.
Smelly breath could point to an underlying dental condition like oral infections or gingivitis. We advise keeping a close eye on your dogβs appetite as well. If they start showing an unwillingness to eat, then that could mean they are experiencing pain as they chew. The sooner you treat whatβs happening with their teeth and mouth, the sooner your dog can go back to munching on all their favourite food.
Sometimes, having white teeth is not enough of an indication that your cat has a healthy mouth. The following are symptoms you also need to look (and smell) out for: smelly breath, increased drooling, loose teeth. Each of these could point to an underlying dental condition like oral infections or gingivitis. Reach out to us as soon as you notice unusual symptoms in your little kitty.
