Hi Everyone,

I hope you're all well and your furry friends are settling in with new groomers.

My arm is all healed up and has been getting a lot of workout as I prep for our big move on Friday! I'm very excited and I can't wait to get down there so I can begin looking at options for reopening my business in Waihi.

I'm posting this to ask for your help!!
It would be a huge help and mean a lot to me if you could spare a moment to leave my business a review.

Hi everyone, please read through to the end as this is very IMPORTANT news!

I hope you are all well. I can't believe we are already in May! I'm a week into my cast life and feeling pretty good, I had a lot of pain from muscle spasms last week which are 'touch wood' mostly gone now but they did another xray and found I have a second fracture on my ulna(for those who have not heard about my accident please see my prior Facebook post for the full story).

I have some more big news to share with you today, some sad but exciting news..

My partner Eli and I are in the process of purchasing our first home together and moving to Waihi taking my little grooming room with me! Sadly this means after 7 years of grooming in Silverdale I'll be CLOSING my doors, OFFICIALLY on the 21st Of JUNE.

I know this will come as a huge shock to most of you, Eli and I have been looking at properties for quite a while now but I didn't want to say anything until it was official we were moving. We are both ready to escape the madness of the city and begin a new phase of our lives together which we couldn't realistically do in Auckland.

I'm sad that it's had to end like this, I thought I'd get a couple more groom's in with everyone and be able to say my proper goodbyes but unfortunately life sometimes has its own plans for us! At this stage I've only cancelled appointments up to 5 weeks from my accident but my Dr's told me I'll be in my cast for at least 6 weeks and then will most likely need physio and be restricted in my use in regards to returning to work so I've made the decision to CANCEL ALL OF MY BOOKINGS GOING FORWARD. A few of you have met Mandy from Doggie Stylz now, she's been such a huge help taking on clients while I'm out of action. If you haven't been in touch I'd recommend reaching out to her about future grooming or any other local groomer so as not to miss your regular groom times.

I can't begin to express my thanks to all of you for your support with my small business over the years and for trusting me to look after your dogs and make them look and feel gorgeous. I can't believe it's been 7 years since taking over the business, you've all become like family to me and I will miss seeing you all and the time I get to spend with your fur babies.

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to quickly update everyone who hasn't already been on what's been going on in my life this past weekend..
I had a very eventful weekend for myself, from getting to see two of my best friends get married in the beautiful Coromandel, to a very bad fall to wrap up the night! Luckily I was in very good hands with two of my friends being nurses and the bride's dad, a Dr! After a long drive home on Sunday straight to the ER, a few scans later they confirmed I had a distal radius fracture.
So unfortunately I will be out of action for some time! The Dr's have said I'll be in a cast for about 5 weeks and from there I'll probably be taking things a bit slower as I get back into it. I've currently cancelled all my appointments 5 weeks out but obviously may need to shuffle some of my other groom's once I know when I can return to work.
Luckily for me and all you lovely clients, Mandy at Doggie Stylz Holistic Grooming on Spur Rd has stepped in to help anyone needing grooms while I'm out of action! She has recently opened in the area after working for about 3 years in Bucklands Beach, she'd be more than happy to help look after your fur babies till I'm back in action. She has been so lovely and has taken such a huge weight off my shoulders knowing you'll be in good hands so I can rest easy, heal up and enjoy my forced holiday!

Happy New Year everyone!!
I hope you've all had a lovely, safe holidays.
Some big changes for me going into the new year. I've moved my grooming salon! But no fret, I'm just up the hill next to my dad's garage. He's been working hard the past few months to build me a new shed from the ground up to work out of, it's turned out amazing! I love it and I can't wait to see you all in my new setup!
Instead of turning left when you pull in the driveway please follow the signs straight down the driveway to the right, keep going towards the white house, then it's another left at the last sign. Please park in front of the garage doors to allow enough room if other people arrive and make sure you're dogs are walked and toileted before arriving and have them on a leash.
