As someone who has personally witnessed a family member fight against the system for years in order to protect an animal's right to live, despite its behavioral issues, my entire perspective on how we view animals that are different from what is considered 'normal' has been transformed. It made me realize that as a community, we have the power to help those misunderstood creatures by doubling our efforts towards their well-being and ensuring they get another shot at living happily through various rehabilitation methods so they are able to find a forever home.

Aggressive or behaviorally challenged dogs are often overlooked and end up on euthanasia lists. By focusing our efforts on these individuals, we hope to provide them with the opportunity for rehabilitation and ultimately, a forever home.

Meet Motzi, our new client of the day! She's a 9-month-old Siberian Husky and one of my favorite breeds. Her parents just brought her home two days ago, so she may be feeling shy at first but I am excited to give her plenty of cuddles tonight. 🙂
