MISSING KITTY! Carter (f/k/a Podrick) was fostered at Boofy's until he was adopted, so we are sad to learn that he is missing. He was last heard in the storm drain on 18th St. and Lynn SE, Rio Rancho NM 87124, on June 27th after getting out of the house on June 22.
Please keep an ear out around the drains in the area and please notify FAT KATZ at 505-293-2830 or Jacinta Rupprecht 505-433-8617 if you encounter this sweet boy!

An important pre-Easter reminder for kitty parents: EASTER LILIES ARE FATALLY TOXIC TO CATS! All parts of the lily plant are toxic, and a cat that ingests even a tiny amount of the leaves, flowers, pollen, or vase water may quickly die of kidney failure. The easiest way to keep your kitty safe this Easter? Don't bring any lilies into your house if you have felines!

Kaylee is back from the vet... but her teeth are not! 🙀 Kaylee was found to have bad stomatitis, which happens when the immune system overreacts to bacteria on the teeth, resulting in severe inflammation and pain. Because of the chronic pain, affected cats often stop grooming and get cranky. A full mouth extraction is often the only way to get the condition under control, so Kaylee is now a toothless wonder. She's already feeling much better just hours after surgery. She scarfed down her din-din, washed her face a little, and played with her peacock feather before settling in for a good purr. ❤❤❤❤❤

Magenta was the third-born of Paisley's final litter and always had a bit of a wild, independent streak. She was a beautiful tortie baby and has grown up to be a beautiful tortie adult. Happy first birthday, Magenta!

Happy first birthday to Paisley's babies! Nando (now Christopher), Tormund (now Cheeto), Poe (now Sheba), and Magenta were born the night of 4/26/2020, just a few hours after FAT KATZ gave a very pregnant Paisley her freedom ride to Boofy's. We're glad we could provide a safe, quiet place for Paisley to give birth to her last litter, and we enjoyed watching this little family grow up during the early days of the Zombie Apocalypse.
