"Recipes to the Rescue," the Humane Society's 250 recipe cookbook, is available for pre-sale on the Cookbook page on our website at www.langladecountyhumanesociety.org which saves you $1. And you can arrange to have it mailed directly to you for a small fee of $3. Check it out!

The Langlade County Humane Society provides a safe place for abandoned and lost cats and dogs and a healing haven for the mistreated, neglected or abused animals of Langlade County. LCHS is a No-Kill shelter, License #268577-ds. It is a privately-funded nonprofit organization, (EIN 39- 1375237), NOT a County Agency. LCHS relies on your donations, NOT your tax dollars, your donations, to provide services to the cats and dogs who find the Shelter on their journey to their furever home.
