Raven “nesting”

Raven is in labor and starting to push. Each of my girls do the delivery different but the one thing they all want is momma. Raven is a in the skin kind of dog so this is how she delivers. About a hour ago she sat at my feet and stared at me HARD I asked if she was ready and she headed back down the hall to my room so I walked in and she went into and checked out both nesting boxes in my room she chose her bed by messing up the covers. I asked her again is it time and she starts chirping at me, I say what do you want and she puts both from paws on the side of the bed and barks, I don’t let my girls deliver in nesting boxes # 1 reason is my girl want their momma. They will physically hold back until I am home. Nadia would wait and wait till I walk thru the door. Birthing pups is a special time for me and my girls we go in my room alone or sometimes if he can Jamie is with us. We turn on the tv to cover the house noises turn the lights down low till they start pushing and I see a sack them the over head light is back on. We lay on my bed and I rub their belles or give them litttle scratches and kisses. I tell them how much I love them and how grateful I am for what they do for me. My babies are my world and I loves this moment to get spend such a special time is amazing! The other reason is with them being with me I have space and time to catch any problems and help them as quickly as I can. PS I have a towel stuffed in my shirt I learned my lesson last year when she gave birth. This is ravens version of having pups! She would do it in my lap her preference so we compromise and I lay next to her so she can constantly be touching me.
