Tess is 15yo AQHA Mare. Stands approximately 15.2h.
She clocks 3/4D, can be in 2D depending on the rider. She would be an excellent step up horse for a youth! She is very safe, super quiet and kind. Not marish. She is forward when she rides, not a dead head but still very easy to handle. She walks flat footed in the alley, and will stand quiet all day long with or without you on her back. She does know poles as well. Would be a great 5 event/ play day horse!
She requires some maintenance.

Little back story to my madness. My sweet retired horse Jag, who has made me into the rider/competitor/trainer I am today has one eye. So I thought how cool would it be if I could somehow get my Initals (SC) into an eye as a tribute to him for my business! I think this is gonna look so cool on all my horses and I can’t wait! This mare knows barrels (clocks 3/4D), poles and was told by the previous owner she also goat ties and heads.

She is super quiet and kind. Not marish. She is forward in the warm up pen so I wouldn’t recommend a beginner, but an intermediate kid looking for a step up could handle her. Walks flat footed in the alley, and will stand quiet all day long with or without you on her back. She’s an all in one package!
She does require maintenance!

2014 AQHA Mare Plum Passage, “Letty”

Due to needing room and focusing more on younger horses Letty is looking for another pasture 😢

Easy to haul/stall at shows and has excelled with multiple riders/styles. Super gritty mare, no exhibitions or tuning needed. If you have a busy schedule but want something to run on the weekend, she’s it. Just lunge during the week and then head to the barrel race!
She can be a little hot and quirky but she really doesn’t have any bad habits. I recommend an experienced rider since she rides around on the hotter side and can get on the muscle in the alley. Nothing bad, just ready to go! This mare is very fast and athletic!
Set her up for her first then she is a mix of push/free style.
Typical maintenance needed. Runs on lasix.

Meet Prince! New short term training resident to Clough Barrel horses!
