New Hope Animal Rescue saves the lives of dogs and cats at risk of being killed in shelters. We are 100% foster based, which means we do not operate a shelter.

Whether a pet has been discarded or is at risk due to breed, age or health status, we provide the medical care & rehabilitation needed prior to adoption. Caring for every pet we rescue includes ensuring they are spayed or neutered before adoption. We also urge our community to join the fight against pet overpopulation by having their own pets spayed or neutered and encouraging friends, family, nei

Marty McFly will capture your heart at every turn! We have no idea why his previous owners chose not to reclaim him or perhaps could not reclaim him from a high-euthanasia shelter because he is PERFECT! But Marty is only looking ahead to the bright future in front of him.

No need for a DeLorean and a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to drive Marty to his future—just provide a safe and loving home because he’s easy to please! Marty adapts quickly and easily to new situations and will make you feel like you’ve been his mom or dad from the first day you meet him.

Marty loves to snuggle up against you on the couch, be involved in your activities, or sometimes, he can be a little independent, choosing to sun himself a few more minutes before coming inside. He is house-trained, well-mannered, and does well on a leash.

Fostered with dogs of all ages and sizes, Marty tolerates obnoxious puppy antics and grumpy Frenchie/bulldog grumbles. He just wants to keep the peace and find a way to be close to you without “rocking” the boat with his pack members.

His energy level is medium to “chill.” Marty can just hang out or be up for a walk or play in the yard with other pups. He gets along great with other pets, including cats, but he LOVES humans so much that he would be just as happy with someone who has lots of time and love for him. He probably wouldn’t mind being the only child as long as he wasn’t stuck home alone all day without friends.

Marty is also VERY quiet so far. His foster mom doesn’t know
what his bark sounds like yet, but it has only been 10 days. Not a p*ep out of Marty McFly yet!

Kitty Purry, the little feline superstar who beat the odds! She was one of the cats rescued in 2023 from an illegal breeder. Kitty Purry faced a tough battle against Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a condition that's 100% fatal without treatment but boasts a 95% survival rate with the miraculous GS treatment.

We’re thrilled to announce that Kitty Purry not only survived but thrived! Thanks to the incredible care she received and the GS treatment, she's now living her best life in her forever home, found through the wonderful folks at Tomlinson's on South Lamar.

Sweet Triscuit was surrendered to our care after being discovered with a broken leg! Likely hit by a car with her road rash and fractures, she’s recovering in foster care. Sadly her latest x ray’s reveal her leg isn’t healing properly so she will need surgical intervention or amputation! Sneak p*ek puppy alert! Do we have a cutie for you that you are hearing about first because you follow our social media! Welcome sweet puppy Jacques who just joined our rescue yesterday and isn't even on our website yet! He went straight from the shelter to a neuter appointment where we got him current on his vaccinations and microchipped, and then he made his way to a loving foster home where she says he is already so sweet with her dogs, a cat and her 4 year old nephew! So you can go ahead and start applying to adopt! We are going to hold him for two weeks in foster care just to make sure he doesn't break with a puppy cough from his time exposed to other dogs in puppy jail [a public shelter], but we are happy to accept applications and start facilitating our adoption process so you can call dibs on this cutie pie! Jacque is 11 pounds, 4 months old and is a terrier mix. We will get to know him more in the next couple weeks to help us identify a good match for a loving home.

Ritz Carlton is in desperate for relief from his worsening skin condition, and we need your help! His bloodwork shows markers for the possible very elusive FIP (dry form) as a highly suspected underlying cause of his worsening condition that’s stumping our vets. We just purchased $500 in oral FIP GS medication and are also raising $1000 for a skin test. Please help us help this sweet cat with such an incredible and sweet spirit! Without improvement we will be forced to think about his quality of life, and we aren’t done fighting to get answers to save him and need your support!

One of his favorite activities is playing hide and seek with his dog pals under dog beds, couches, or any piece of furniture he can find.
