With Halloween coming up tomorrow, we wanted to remind everyone of some important safety measures!

-Make sure pets have collars
-Keep lit candles, glow sticks, and decorations away from pets
-If your pet is wearing a costume please make sure it fits properly and doesn't block your pet's sight, hearing or breathing

We also want to point out that xylitol or birch sugar, is a sweetener found in candy. When pets consume this it can cause vomiting and diarrhea, so please make sure all Halloween sweets are kept out of reach.

Be on the look-out tomorrow for a post with some fun costumes we've seen around the clinic this week!

Happy fall everyone!

We are noticing a mild uptick of coughing in dogs. We recommending limiting exposure in public parks for the next 2 weeks.

Great news, this beautiful boy has been reunited with its owner. Thank you to everyone who liked and shared. 😻

Hi everyone! We'd like to welcome Moose to our clinic family, he is a new puppy to our receptionist, Ali. He is only 11 weeks old and has already learned how to sit, stay, and lie down!

We thought it would be fun to share his journey as he grows into a big, beautiful boy.

Enjoy some photos of his first vet appointment.

Just a reminder with the upcoming weather this week!

07/02/2024

In observance of July 4th we will be closed all day Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th.

We will reopen on Saturday, July 6th from 9AM-12PM for food and medication pick-ups only.

We know the festivities around the holiday can be stressful for pets, so here are some of our recommendations to keep them safe and comfortable!
-Keep all pets (including cats) indoors during fireworks to prevent them from running away.
-Play loud music, turn a television on high or keep fans on. Anything that can keep pets from being frightened by loud noises.
-Exercise dogs early in the morning due to warm weather.
-Always touch the pavement before letting your dog on it, if it's too hot for us it's too hot for them!

If your pet has a medical emergency, here are some hospitals you can reach out to: Animal Emergency & Specialty- (425)-827-8727, Blue Pearl Kirkland- (425)-823-9111, Animal Medical Center of Seattle- (206)-204-3366, Veterinary Specialty Center- (425)-697-6106, and Timberline Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital- (206)-828-6868.

We hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!
