Good Earth Farms uses sustainable, organic and holistic growing practices to provide you with the freshest, most nutritious produce in Central Oregon. We grow varieties you won’t find from the industrial food system - heirloom and open pollinated varieties that have evolved naturally over the years with a vast array of tastes, colors, sizes, shapes and always high in nutritional value. Our goal is

to help create a local, sustainable food system that keeps us healthy, preserves our natural resources, supports the local economy and tastes great!

Howdy Folks! June 17th marks the beginning of market! Catch us at Mt. View High School on fridays 2-6pm & Northwest Crossing on Saturdays 10-2pm.

We are collaborating with Bee Sweet Bend this year, with new bee hives on our farm, and selling delicious honey! Encouraging reusable jars (honey out of the tap!) so being your own!

Hope to see you fancy summer folk soon! Cheers:)

Community Supported Agriculture shares now available for 2016 season!

When you buy a CSA share in Good Earth Farms you become an integral part of our farm family! A CSA consists of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes the community’s farm, with the growers and CSA members providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production. This CSA arrangement creates several advantages for both Good Earth Farms and our CSA members:

Advantages for CSA members:
•Eat super fresh veggies with all the flavor and nutritional benefits
•Get exposed to new, seasonal vegetables and new ways of cooking
•Visit the farm at least once a season and experience work-on-the-farm opportunities
•Develop a relationship with your local farmer - learn more about how your food is grown and how we take care of our shared natural resources.

Advantages for Good Earth Farms:
•Get to spend time marketing crops early in the year, before our 16 hour days in the field begin!
•Receive payment early in the season, which helps with the farm's cash flow - we have many up front expenses early in the season but cash flow doesn't start until late Spring.
•Have an opportunity to build a relationship with the people who eat the food that we grow

Membership Details and Delivery Schedule:

Our 2016 CSA runs for 24 weeks starting on May 4 and concluding with the final box on October 12. You can pick up your CSA box from 11AM to 6PM at the farm or at Paradise Produce located at 1234 NW Galveston.

CSA members get the best bang for their buck! A full 2016 CSA share costs $720 and a ½ share is $432. We offer two payment options – full payment by April 1 includes a 15% discount ($612 for full share and $367 for ½ share) or you can pay in 2 equal installments with the first payment due April 1 and the second payment due June 1 (2 payments of $360 for full share or 2 payments of $216 for ½ share).

If you would like to become a CSA member or have additional questions, please email us at [email protected].

We still have tomatoes! Even though northwest crossing farmers market is over, our tomatoes keep ripening. We have big beef slicers, a variety of heirlooms, and lots and lots of cherry tomatoes.
Get ready for winter and can, freeze, and dehydrate some delicious tomaters!
We are at the farm daily and can help you pick the best. Ugly tomatoes are cheaper too!
Let us know if you want to stop by.

DISCLAIMER: if you come for tomatoes you will probably have to say hi to the pigs and goats. ( they like attention)
