This sweetheart came to Purrs from the Humane Society of Washington County. Tortiellini was the greeter cat at Purrs, always by the front door. He chose his new Dad and will be a starter kitten. He will have three cats in the apartment above him where he will spend his days when Dad is at work. Give Purrs A Chance is doubly delighted to announce adoptions #2,154 & #2,155 of Morganthia and Goldfish. Morganthia is a three month old calico cutie pie sweetheart. She came to Purrs from Critter Connection. Goldfish is a one and a half year old ginger giant sweetheart. He came to Purrs from the Humane Society of Washington County. Although Mom was chosen by a kitten and an adult who had never met the third picture is them on their first night together in their new home. Morganthia and Goldfish now reside in Roanoke VA as only pets. Happy tails love muffins 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻

Give Purrs A Chance is now offering nail trimming and microchipping at Give Purrs A Chance. If your cat or dog needs a microchip or needs their nails trimmed Purrs will be accepting appointments for Mondays from 5-6pm. Please call 304-258-7299 or email at [email protected] to set up an appointment. All cats must be in a carrier. Dogs must be on a leash and bring a muzzle. Nail trims are $15 for cats and $20 for dogs. Microchips ar $30. Available on the Purrs enclosed porch at the back of our building at 51 Independence St in Berkeley Springs. Purr on 😻😻

Hi!! We wanted to give you an update on Fig (formerly Moko) now that’s she’s settled into her new home ❤️ her personality has blossomed so much in the last few weeks, and she’s still the sweetest little girl! She’s become so playful and loves sneaking up on her big sisters 😅 our cats warmed up to her faster than we expected, I wouldn’t say they’re best friends yet but it’s getting better every day! We love her so much, thank you for taking such good care of her and for bringing her into our lives!

Give Purrs A Chance is excited to announce a major fundraiser for Saturday September 7th at Kirkwood Park in Hancock MD. The Modern Woodmen Life Insurance is sponsoring the event. There will be four musical acts including Adam Calvert; a craft show, a car show and much more. Purrs will receive all the proceeds from the event including concessions. In addition, the Modern Woodmen will make a $2,500 matching donation. Purrs is required to raise $2,500 so we are turning to our Facebook friends to help us match the donation. She will be the first blind cat at Purrs and we are thrilled to be trusted in finding her her furever home. She is less than a year old. Looking for a name for this cutie patootie. Give Purrs A Chance is delighted that Seamus has come to Purrs while waiting for his furever home. Seamus is a seven month old kitten who was born with deformed back legs. He came to us from Humane Society of Washington County. As always, Purrs views these impurrfections as character traits. Seamus goes up and down stairs and gets along fine. He could not be a sweeter cat. Purrs is confident that we will find him his home. Seamus (pronounced Shay-mus) got his name from the pirate on Family Guy that has two peg legs. We love this little guy and hope his stay at Purrs is short lived. Five cats arriving Saturday which will take us past fifty. Oops. Come meet your new BFF this weekend.
