It has 60 hours online and then a short in person component with no national exam proving competency and then they can do surgery on your pet! I join the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association in opposing this proposal!!!

This is Todd! He is such a sweet boy! He use to be very nervous at the Vet, but, he has been coming in for happy visits, getting his cookies and loving from the staff 💕 so, when he came in today for his actual appointment, he was so comfortable and we even got a lot of tail wags! To our NBCAH family. It is very sad that I have to make this post. Dr. Raines and her family are safe, but they lost their home. They lost everything. In the interest of all of our clients and staff, we request that any clients who are exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties please refrain from entering the facility. We are also offering the following services for our clients to help minimize exposure;
For patients needing examinations and treatments; We can allow you to remain in your car, and obtain history either via phone or the window. We will provide you with an estimate for services, and take your pet into the hospital for treatment. We can then return your pet to you and complete the visit.

For prescription and food pick up; Please call the clinic when you pull into the parking space in front. We will bring your items to your car for your convenience.

Sanitizing all surfaces between appointments with extra focus on high touch areas. Please be patient as these extra cleaning measures will require more time.

Maintaining a minimum social distance of 3 feet, which means no handshakes

Requesting that only one client attend the appointment, with the exception of dependents that cannot be left alone. We are happy to consult with others via phone during the appointment if necessary.

Our facility does not have a public restroom. Typically, we will es**rt client’s to our team’s bathroom when needed. Until further notice there will be no use by clients of our team’s bathroom. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

Employees are not allowed to work with any symptoms of infectious illness.
