I've worked as an animal control officer for my county and a low cost vet clinic for 3 years. I have fostered many feral kittens, bottle babies, pregnant cats, dogs, and puppies for local shelters over the past 17 years. I love all animals and I really enjoy the shy or timid ones, I am patient and almost always gain their trust, which is very rewarding for me. I started caring for my own pets as a

teenager. I have trained Zaya (my pitbull) myself, and I had trainers help me train my previous dogs. One of my dogs took classes and became a certified therapy dog, we went to the nursing homes in my area. I have handled all types of cats/dogs from mild to aggressive behavior. I enjoy caring for all of them!!

Journee's Journey

Journee is a foster I took in a couple weeks ago. She's now 6 weeks old, her brother passed away after being with me for 8 days. Journee came from some not so great living conditions and right now she's trying to fight an infection caused from a kitten bite, during play time. She has been to the vet a couple times and is on her 2nd antibiotic. She's on bedrest and getting a warm compress throughout the day (trying to get the infection to drain, and keep the 2 holes in her arm open, so it can continue to drain). She's still eating, drinking, and even purring, even after going through all of this! Saturday she's going back to the vet for a check up and another steroid injection.
