Hey, I’m Jax. I am a regular here at Dogwood Animal Hospital. They take care of me when my dad has to travel. I give them two paws up. I always have fun and get to play with all the toys. They take my picture all the time. They are kinda obsessed with me. 😉 I do have a great smile. 🐶😊

Hey, Moon here, just checking to make sure all the pups and kitties out there are staying cool this summer. It’s sooo hot outside. Tell your parents to make sure you get plenty of water don’t stay outside too long. Also, when you are outside make sure you have some shade.

Hi, My name is Lucy. I am a 6 year old Chihuahua. I live here at Dogwood Animal Hospital. I have lived here for 6 months. I had an accident and had to have surgery to remove my eye. It’s ok though because I’m pretty tough and I do just fine with one eye. I no longer have a family so my friends here are looking for one for me. I love people but can be a little testy with other animals and small children. I do go out with Loralie so I can be worked with. I just need to know the rules. I want a family where I can be the princess. I just want to have my belly rubbed and get treats. If you are interested in adopting me just call my friends at Dogwood Animal Hospital. They are excited for me to have a family again.

Hi, My name is Loralie. I am a 13 month old Beagle mix. I love to eat, get treats, play with my toys. I LOVE to play with other dogs. I have had a trial in a home and loved the children and the cat that lived there. I am full of energy and would love to have a furr friend to play with. I am looking for my furever home. It's World Hello Day! 👋 A day for people worldwide to say hello to each other. So let's take this opportunity to introduce our pets to each other. 😺 🐶

Here are some tips on how to introduce your pet to other pets or people:
🐾 Keep your pet on a leash or in a carrier at first until you're sure they're comfortable with the new situation.
🐾 Let the other pet or person approach your pet rather than you forcing them together.
🐾 Give your pet plenty of praise and treats during the introduction so they associate the experience with positive things.
