Behind our animal hospital you will find the West Coast Regional Surgi-Care Center for Horses, a 24-hour emergency equine referral hospital and surgical center. The complex at Care Animal Hospital and the Surgi-Care Center for Horses, our sister hospital, has a highly trained and professional staff of 10 veterinarians including board certified surgeons, one or more interns, externs, and 25 animal technicians, as well as our courteous and caring receptionists, office managers, and customer service coordinators. Unlike most animal hospitals, our facility has been “chartless” since 2005. All medical records, x-ray images, lab results, client correspondence, pictures and diagnostic images are kept in each patient’s digital file and available at the touch of a button. Not only is this method more productive for our staff and more efficient for our patients, but it also proves our environmental stewardship to the community. We accept appointments and walk-ins and provide a house call service as well as a “Pet Taxi” pick-up and delivery service. Many of our clients find the house call services very convenient when they have multiple pets, farm animals, or those highly anxious special pets that refuse to enjoy the car ride to their friendly veterinarian. We are pleased to serve our patients during extended hours, including lunch hour, for your convenience.
