As hunting season approaches we just wanted to touch base with everyone…we still have a lot going on in the shop and we are trying our best to get everyone’s trophies back to them as quick as we can, as always we appreciate everyone’s patience who has a trophy here with us! With that being said we will more than likely only be taking in a very limited amount of shoulder mounts this year so we can get caught up on others we are still in progress with! We will not be cutting back on euro mounts though or birds for Bailey, we are going to focus more on that end this season as we still have quite a few shoulder mounts to be completed! I also will not be posting a price list as it changes on us taxidermist way too much, things are expensive these days guys unfortunately! Prices will be very different from previous years but anyone is more than welcome to message us or call for a quote! We love what we do but at the end of the day it has to be worth it for us on the price end to be able to do it, most any taxidermist will agree to that I’m sure! We DO NOT like to have to rush to sling deer out of the door, we would rather have a limited amount of projects so each one gets great attention to detail, and yes price will reflect that! As always we appreciate each and everyone, y’all go get after them!!!

We are looking for some part time help, this will be a gig where you get paid for what you do…mainly hide tanning involved but other stuff too…there is a big learning curve to this, takes lots of patience and practice…could possibly turn into full time because we are considering expanding to do some cape tanning for others if the right person works out…if any interest you can message me at +12293275810

Me, bailey, and Nathan wanted to try our hands at some waterfowl this week, these are 2 personal birds of mine that I saved a couple years back in case we ever wanted to add waterfowl services to the shop! We will be getting our waterfowl license and adding that service this year! A big thanks to Landon Bozeman and Nathan Wheeler for all the instruction and help these guys are awesome at what they do!

We have a lot of mounts heading out the door that we will be posting pictures of very soon! Me, bailey and Nathan have been busting it to try and get your trophies back asap! We appreciate everyone! I wanted to share this that I stole from another taxidermist page where he broke down the cost these days on taxidermy work, this just being a whitetail for example, y’all if your taxidermist is “high” in your opinion or has to keep going up it isn’t because they want to! Never mind the wait on all these materials 90% of the time, what it takes these days money wise to put together a quality piece is absolutely ridiculous! Especially if the taxidermist has a lot of overhead! So don’t beat your taxidermist up about his or her pricing from year to year…We are just trying to make it in this crazy world too!

So we haven’t posted in a while, but me and Bailey wanted to touch base and let everyone know that Tired Creek Taxidermy will be expanding facilities and adding help in the near future! It will have some new service additions that we aren’t going to announce just yet, but we are super excited about this! For all that has waiting a long while we have at least 20 capes coming out of the tan now that are fixing to mount if not more so be ready 😉…we want to expand to serve our customers better and faster! We surely appreciate everyone’s patience and on a side note we are planning on doing some sort of a big buck contest this year with 3 different prizes! We haven’t worked all the kinks out yet but we will post the final details way before season again! Just don’t tell David Strickland because he’s probably gonna be in charge of the score sheets 😏 thank you all for your continued support and patience

Firstly, we would like to say that we appreciate our customers so much and we would not be here today with out you. But, we have recently had a number of no pick-ups. No pick ups result in mounts taking up space and hindering us from moving on to the next. Each of our customers are very important to us and their mounts are just as important as the next ones. We take pride in what we do for each of you.

Due to the no pick ups, we will now have a 10% interest fee after 15 days. After 30 days, it will be our possession.

This was unusual but fun! customer had a ladder break while he was hanging his trophy and it caused him stitches and ripped the horns off of his mount! very pleased to repair it! African Kudu…I did not do the original mount
