Duyn Family Farms was established in 1990 at our farm in the heart of Carlton, OR. We strive to produce the highest quality show stock. We raise top of the line registered Yorkshire and Crossbred hogs, as well as club lambs.

It’s going to be Hot! Hot! Hot!

Make sure during these hot days your piggies and lambs are staying cool.

When it get hot pigs tent to go off feed so if you are pushing make sure they have lots of access to cool water to drink.

You can go out and rinse them off a few times a day to cool the body down, be mindful of the ears. We don’t need any ear aches so close to fair. Hang a FAN! Keep the air flowing.

We are about 30 days till fair season for most and only a week for others.

It’s been a cold day on the farm. Water hauled to all the pigs, constantly checking the new born piglets, and lots and lots of straw to be distributed.

I’m sure you have all heard of pigs in a blanket 😉These mama sows are 4 days from delivery. Anything to keep them happy and heathy tell the new babies arrive.

Good luck to all my fellow pig friends during these tough barn days! ❤️🐷
