Aero (the chocolate lab…appropriate name) and Atlas met for the first time today. It also was the start of our freezing temperatures today so we had to move from the Dog Field, to the Backyard and finally when the wind / freezing temps and snow came, playtime continued inside.

Belle, the tanned coloured dog usually snaps aggressively at other dogs she meets (she’s not an aggressive dog just doesnt know how to greet oncoming dogs or the confidence of how to play with them) …and becomes defensive but her introduction and supervised exposure to the pack has allowed her to drop her defences and learn how to enjoy playing like other dogs do and have fun. That’s what we call Pack Training and thereby learning better socialisation skills. That’s The Love of Dogs, dogs teaching each other good behaviours.
