Today is International Pet Groomer Appreciation Day! Good groomers don't just cut for looks, they maintain the well-being of your pets! They look for signs of trouble beneath the furry surface. A good groomer may discover health issues before you know they exist, including cysts, bad skin conditions, and ear infectionsโ€”all of which can hide under fur! Thank you to all our local Groomers! ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿพ

Today is National Pit Bull Awareness Day! There are about 18 million pit bull-type dogs and pit bull mixes in the U.S. Pit bull-type dogs are often the first to be euthanized in shelters due to overcrowding, lack of adopters, and restrictive breed bans. Today is a day of appreciation and education designed to change perceptions and stereotypes about bully breed dogs! ๐Ÿ•โค๏ธ

In Japan and the UK, a black cat crossing your path brings good luck. While in America and some other parts of the world they believe the opposite โ€“ that a black cat crossing your path is bad luck โ€“ we much prefer Japan's and the UK's version of the superstition. ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ€
