Meet Loki. His family reached out to us as he was battling a severe asthma attack and needed a very small pledge amount in order to get him seen and stabilized at their vet. We contributed what they were short of his visit which was $55.

We are doing our best to help where we can. Right now our fund is case by case as funds are very low and we have about 20 applications we cannot review or assist with .

Please consider donating through our PayPal, those funds get to us immediately.

Thank you,
Gina

Meet Smokey.. he had a urinary blockage and our friends at York vet came through again, for the millionth time, to help us get this baby the care he needed.. we pledged $250 towards his care..

Surgery went great. Here's what the owner updated us with this afternoon.

I actually just got off the phone with Dr. with an update a little bit ago. I was told yesterday that pickup from surgery was 3:00pm. However, she said it was a bit of a complicated surgery that the pre surgery X-rays indicated six stones in the bladder so they went in and flushed them out. After performing the surgery they did an x-ray afterwards to be sure they were all removed and unfortunately saw 2 more stones so they had to open him back up to remove them and instead of being in his bladder these 2 were lodged in his urethra. She said theres a lot of bladder inflammation she wants to keep him overnight so that she can monitor him peeing normally post surgery. His original vet mentioned inflammation but not to the degree she did. I did everything to try and express to them that I know my furbaby and this situation seemed more dire than his exam notes conveyed but in my head wondered bc of my attachment to him if I was being emotional. My heart breaks for what he’s been through but Dr.W explained with a few adjustments to his post op plan (like a longer course of anti inflammatory medication) he should be on his was to recovery with no blockage or straining. My poor sweet boy. I have his recovery room ready for him tomorrow and again so grateful he is in such great care until then. Thank you for checking in. I was mentally composing an update to send when I wasn’t driving. I will certainly keep you posted tomorrow as well. ❤️

Please help us continue our mission. Our fund is closed to the redline again.

Meet Mr. Meeseeks. He spent a few days in local ER for urinary blockage. Every time they took catheter out he would reblock. Owner spent close to $9k and the only option was euthanasia or another $6k for a PU surgery. we called the owner just in time as they had started to prep him for euthanasia. A few phone calls and a few hrs later, we were able to get him scheduled this morning for PU surgery on the peninsula. We are contributing up to $500 for his surgery today.

Please keep Mom and Mr meeseeks in your thoughts and paws and whiskers 🤞 for a successful surgery.

Meet Vegas. His owners are currently homeless and reached out to us as he was lethargic, vomiting, losing weight, blood in stool. Thankfully parvo negative as he's only 11 months old. We assisted with his care yesterday. As of now the vet is not thinking obstruction. Has put him on meds to calm his tummy and stop the vomiting and bland prescription diet. We assisted with $250 towards his care. He will have a recheck soon if he does not start to feel better as it could still be a blockage that xrays could not see. Owners will likely need to surrender at that point as they will be out of their motel this evening. Peta assisted with paying for a night at the hotel they were in.

**graphic warning** Meet Chief, what started as a large lipoma in his chest, took a turn for the worst real fast. The owner tried a few vet offices who could not do the surgery. This poor boy finally received the care he needed today and is undergoing surgery to repair a very large mass on his chest. We covered $250 towards his surgery today. Please keep your toes and paws crossed he makes it through surgery and they can remove the mass with no issues.

Our fund is also depleted. We could really use some love and shares so people can see what we help do every single day.
