If you have an appointment, please check your pet over prior to bringing them in! There are some things we can accommodate such as if your pet has fleas, we can treat that but still need to know ahead of time so as soon as they enter the shop they can go for an immediate flea bath, sensitive ears, matting.

Things that CAN NOT be accommodated are if your pet(s) have worms, any open sore or wounds, they have been coughing or seem sick/lethargic/or just not normal (more than just being nervous though). Female dogs who are not spayed and are in heat, they need to be completely done with their cycle, bleeding and non, before coming for a groom.

Myself and the shop both have had an increase in some of these things happen lately and we’ve had to send pets home without finishing their grooming service.

As Meagan Hale, owner and sole groomer of Grooming by Meg, my passion for animal care started at a daycare and boarding facility in June 2011. I began my grooming journey in January 2012, learning the fundamentals from an experienced groomer for a year. I then diversified my experience by working in veterinary clinics, retail, and grooming salons. To further enhance my skills, I attended a formal grooming academy in February 2015, focusing on breed-specific haircuts and advanced shearing techniques. With 15 months of comprehensive training, I continually update my knowledge and plan to adopt fear-free grooming methods. My specialty lies in grooming anxious or aggressive pets, treating each one like my own furry family member.
