Copperwood offers year round western riding lessons to ages 7 yrs old and up along with week long camps throughout the summer months. Our grounds feature two lit arenas, a round pen, a track, cement wash racks, a covered area for relaxing, and roomy outdoor pens for your horse to live in. If you have any questions please call!

PLEASE STOP leaving Cat Food out everywhere! The places where it is left is accessible to the goats and other dogs. It is dangerous for those other animals. The cats are fed every single evening. If you’d like to feed a cat, please put it up high there no other animal can reach it. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jeannette 559-304-6949.

We have an extremely hot week approaching. My recommendations are that you do not exercise your horses once our temperature has reached 108. Dehydration is a gradual effect. So if your Horse sweats a lot on Monday by Wednesday, he still be suffering from the workout. He had days before. This is a good time to just sit tight and allow them to rest. You can hose them off if you’d like. Please don’t exercise them. Provide them with salt and electrolytes. Please do not empty your water troughs to clean them starting on July 8. Let’s allow the troughs to remain full of water. Sometimes when we have extreme heat , which is approaching, we experience blackouts with power as well, which would keep us from having power to our well. So please use common sense.
