‼️We are gearing up for 2025 TNVR clinics‼️

In 2024, our 501c3 non-profit saw 498 cats come through our doors, holding 30 clinics where 284 females and 214 males from all over western NY visited us. We'd like to make this year just as successful!

Have outdoor cats that need our services? Trap-Neuter/Spay-Vaccinate-Return is the humane & effective approach to controlling the population and managing the health of feral colonies. We specifically target ferals (not pets, but have referrals for those services), as we found there are SUCH limited resources for these guys for a number of reasons.
We ask for $55/cat which includes:
✅Spay/neuter
✅Rabies and Distemper vaccines
✅Flea/Tick/Deworming treatment
✅Subcutaneous fluids
✅Pain medication injection
✅Ear cleaning
✅An identifying ear tip
We normally hold 2-4 clinics per month based on our veterinarians’ availability, and pause in the winter months for the safety of the cats. Cats must be brought to our clinics in humane traps (we loan these to the caretakers and provide trapping instructions if needed) NOT cat carriers. The caretakers pick the cats up the afternoon of surgery day and release them where they came from after the recovery period, so they can continue to live out their lives in the niche they’ve created without increasing in number.
*We must remember it is not the cat’s fault they are living outdoors, and do our part to help these innocent creatures in any way we can. Letting the colonies go unchecked is not only a stressor for the cats, but also the caretakers, neighbors, and rescues who are already inundated with felines.

🚨 Our annual basket raffle is just around the corner and we are seeking donations of baskets, giftcards, etc. Please pm us or text 585-534-5711 to arrange pickup/dropoff by February 22 🙏

This is our biggest fundraiser for the year and its success allows us to continue to offer our low cost TNVR services (trap-neuter/spay-vaccinate-return) for outdoor feral kitties 🐱

We will again offer an online version a couple days ahead of time to give everyone a chance at the amazing goodies we’ll have 🧺

Hello World!
It’s me, Mabel 👋
I have been in foster care since spring ‘24…when I was a wee, four week old kitten. My sibling, as well as my mom, found wonderful homes, but here I have stayed. The folks at Barn Cat Outreach just don’t understand why nobody has picked me yet, and I don’t either! I mean…look at me, I am so beautiful😻 Not to brag, but I know I am one of the sweetest, most tender and gentle kitties EVER! If you’re seeking a devoted feline friend to curl up next to you on the couch, I could be the purrfect match for you 💞 When we first meet, I’ll need just a few minutes to feel secure with you…but that won’t take me long. Once I do, I will reward you with sweet affection. I promise.

Mia, Mabel, and Millie are the last of our kitties to be adopted this year 😭
These sweet girls were saved from living lives as outdoor cats and would love a home of their own to snuggle in for the holidays (and forevermore!)

Help us get Millie adopted!
This striped stunner came into our TNVR clinic after being trapped, but was too young for surgery. Thankfully, her caretaker was able to hang onto her until our foster was ready. She’s been socialized and fully vetted 💫 Being a run-of-the-mill tabby, she’s unfortunately been looked over in the sea of colorful kittens available in the world. Millie is about 6mos old now and so deserving of her forever home.

🦇 Look at this BOO-tiful family 🎃
Halloween was the perfect day to introduce this sweet Addams family themed litter...
Mama Wednesday was found outside with her four teeny kittens and brought into the safety of a foster home. Flora, Fauna, Morticia, & Pugsley are now ready for adoption, along with their mama! Wednesday is fully vetted and the babies will be once they're a bit bigger (you could take them home now though!) Vetting includes FeLV/FIV test, spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and distemper vaccines, deworming, and flea/tick treatment.
