The jump chute is set for the clinic tomorrow with Jean Yves Tola. Come learn how to set a free jump chute and safely train your horse to improve confidence and jumping technique.

Start time 9am (NOT 10am)
Food and water provided but bring your own if you have particular dietary needs.
Bring a chair if you can.

Looking for a few more horses for the jump chute clinic next Saturday! I Also need to confirm a few more auditors.
I started out with too many horses but conflicts came up being a busy time of year.
I may have to cancel if there is not enough interest but could try to reschedule something early next year.

It was a big weekend for Michalson Farm horses.
Ollivander MF (Lordanos X Holy Bull) went to his first show with owner/rider Lauren Fritz. Lauren and Vander have banked many miles traveling to lessons and clinics weekly, working hard to develop V into a solid citizen with a correct foundation. I can’t wait to watch this pair progress!
Mirabilis (Emilion X Burggraaf) went to her first dressage show and tackled two first level tests with never having ridden through a single test in her life. I think she had fun and earned a few 8s! I see more dressage in her future.
Handsome Hunter wasn’t bred by us, but his mother was and we have his aunt Hard to Read (Alphabet Soup). He successfully completed his first horse show too in the starter CT division. This horse tries so hard all the time! He braved the scary dressage ring and happily jumped around the stadium course clean. He is available.
Latido and his jr rider Savanna won the Hunter Derby at the Prime Time horse show out of 27 entries. Savanna and Latido have put in a lot of hard work and it’s been paying off in spades 💫

We got a stellar update of everyone’s favorite Night Train MF (Emerald Van’t Ruytershof X Burggraaf). His owner/rider has done a great job developing him!

“He was so so successful. Only last week he was fourth in the HJAM Adult Medal Final, and he scored 82 and 83 in the child/adult hunter classic to earn 2nd out of over 20 people. He won his flat class the first week, won a few over fences, and ribboned in almost every single class. He was also reserve champion in the 3’ greens!” - Bella Harold

Unrivaled is a big uphill mover with active hocks perfect for pushing off the ground over a big jump!
Grand Slam VDL, a son of Cardento, competed 1.60m, and was just listed by hippomundo as the up and coming stallion second in the rankings for international offspring under 9yo.
Balou du Rouet is famous for his abundance of top quality offspring from international Show Jumpers to derby hunters and eventers.

Join us October 5th for a Jump Chute clinic with Jean Yves Tola! JY is the founder/owner of the Young Horse Show series as well as the North American Studbook (a full member of the WBFSH).
The day will begin with a presentation, and then we will free jump a selection of horses in the afternoon.

Offering Unrivaled MF by Grand Slam VDL out of Madeira (Balou de Rouet X Holy Bull)

Unrivaled is a tall, strong c**t with a strong presence. He’s very friendly and respectful, easy to get along with. He puts is nose in his halter to lead in for dinner or to go for a trailer ride with his mother. He picks up his feet and let’s me pet every inch of him.
He is a true 3 ring type with an emphasis on hunter/equitation.
We like him so much he’ll probably end up with a full sibling!

Mrs. Pastures Cookies for Horses was kind enough to supplies an abundance of horse cookies to all competitors, first and second place finishers, and to all of our fantastic volunteers! The babies sure deserves a good treat for their performances!
