Attention!!
The family at FFS Pets would like to thank our customers, community and friends for the last 18 years of business. We are heartbroken to say that we will be closing our doors permanently as of February 12, 2022. We will be open today, tomorrow and Saturday (10-11-12) from 1-6 pm for anyone who needs feeders, snakes and supplies.
Once again, we really appreciate the love and support. Thank you!

Ps: Starting next week, please contact Cass at Twisted Creature Reptiles (7062481104 or on FB) for feeders. Please bear with them as there will be an adjustment period for the rats as they get moved and settled in. We all know how stressful moving can be.

We will be open Tuesday through Friday (January 25-28). From 1-6 pm. We will still have some supplies for sale, snakes and feeders as well. Please call or message for questions. The store will be open to the public for the sale of supplies we have left as well as a huge variety of ball pythons needing good homes! We will be open tomorrow and Wednesday (12/14 and 12/15) from 12-5pm for people to come inside and shop as well as for feeders. We will be closed Thursday and Friday (12/16 and 12/17) and will be open Saturday (12/18) from 11-2pm as well. If interested in any snakes, we would recommend coming in on Tomorrow or messaging our page. Thank you for being patient and sorry for the I convinced.

Joseph Claude Berthelot
August 21, 1965 – November 23, 2021

Joseph Claude Berthelot passed away at Athens Regional on Tuesday, November 23 at the age of 56.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Claude was the only child to Marie Ida Berthelot. At the age of 7, Claude and his mother packed their things and moved to Miami, Florida. Not knowing it yet, Claude met the love of his life and future wife at the age of 16. Claude was 19 when he decided to join the United States Marine Corps. In 1994, He married Janet Goldberg, his high school sweetheart. 2 years later in 1996, he welcomed his first child, Matthieu Berthelot. Not too far down the road, 3 years later in 1999, Claude welcomed a daughter named Danielle Berthelot. After serving a proud 22 years in the military, He decided to retire in 2006 at the age of 41. Now retired, Claude took on being self employed by running a mom-and-pop pet store. He ran the business for 15 years until his sudden passing.
In the passing of Claude Berthelot, he left behind his elderly mother Ida Berthelot, a loving wife, Janet Berthelot, a son and daughter, Matthieu and Danielle Berthelot, and a grandson, Brayden Fricks.
Claude was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by his family, friends, customers and even brothers who served in the military alongside him. Even through owning a business and not being a people person, many people loved him and are very sorry to hear of his sudden passing. His memory will forever live in our hearts and though he is gone, he will never be forgotten.

We will be closed for the remainder of the week do to family emergency. On Saturday, November 27th from 12-4pm, we will be having a Celebration of Life for Claude the "snake guy" of FFS as well as a reptile show in his honor. We appreciate the love and support we have gotten and thank you for being understanding of the situation. Please come out and tell your friends.

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY MINI SNAKE SHOW - We'll be doing another Mini Snake Show at our shop. Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, 27 Nov 21.
Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Admission: Free
Payment: Cash only.

On display: A wide variety of our available Ball Pythons. Twisted Creature Reptiles will be joining us once again and they have a lot of stuff that we don't produce. So there should be plenty of animals to choose from or to simply look at really cool looking snakes. We're planning on having 50 or so between us.

Pricing: As with the bazillion other sales going on this week, all of our snakes on display will be on sale and reduced at least 20% off their regular price.

LAST ONE FOR THIS YEAR - Clutch 21-20 was done hatching out when I came in this morning. The pairing was our Pinstripe (100% Het Albino) #1 and Albino #1 Males bred to our Albino #1 Female. She laid 6 eggs. 1 passed away in the egg and 5 hatched out.

We ended up with 3 Male Albinos and 2 Female Albinos, so congratulations to Male Albino #1 for being the Daddy of this clutch.

These animals ARE NOT ready to go yet. That's at least 6 weeks away.

FEEDER CRICKETS AND WORMS - We just received notification from our feeder distributor that their prices are going up on the 15th. We hate to be the "they're raising prices too" folks, but we've absorbed every price increase for nearly a decade. So, effective 15 Nov, we will have no choice but to raise our prices from $1.00 per dozen to $1.25 per dozen.

THANK YOU SO MUCH - Our Mini Snake Show went MUCH better than I thought it would. Turnout was awesome. Thanks to everyone who came by to see some cool snakes. We really do appreciate your support.
