Contrary to popular belief, dogs can see colors. Although they don't see in black and white, they also don't see the same colors as humans.
Dogs lack some of the light receptors in their eyes that allow human beings to see some colors, especially in the green and red range. But they can see blue and yellow. Dogs have a unique perception of the world!
