Hello LNP Community,

Meet Metro! The heartbreaking scene caught the attention of a kind woman. We were told by this kind person that Metro was abandoned at a bus stop by her owner.

The kind woman reached out to us for help after picking her up at the bus stop. We took Metro into our rescue and transported her to East El Paso Animal Hospital for treatment. Metro was dehydrated and treated for her dehydration.

Regardless after being abandoned Metro has a heart of gold and a bark that will melt your heart. Metro is a 10 week old sweet female mixed breed.

Please, if you can offer Metro the sanctuary and care she deserves, even temporarily, or if you’re able to support her financially, reach out to us immediately. Together, let’s ensure that Metro receives the love, care, and second chance she needs and deserves.

🌍❤️ Today is World Spay Day, a global initiative to promote the importance of spaying and neutering our furry friends. 🐾💙
Join us in spreading awareness and making a positive impact on the lives of animals with these key messages:

1️⃣ Prevent Overpopulation: Spaying and neutering helps control the pet population, reducing the number of unwanted animals and ensuring every pet has a loving home.
2️⃣ Health Benefits: Spaying and neutering can improve the overall health of your pet by reducing the risk of certain reproductive diseases and behavioral problems.
3️⃣ Responsible Pet Ownership: By spaying or neutering your pet, you're taking a responsible step towards their well-being and contributing to a healthier community of animals.
4️⃣ Compassion for Strays: Spaying and neutering stray animals helps prevent the suffering of homeless pets and reduces the strain on animal shelters and rescue organizations.

Let's work together to create a world where every pet has a chance for a happy and healthy life. 🌍🐶🐱 Together, we can make a difference! 💙🐾

❤️🐾 Love is in the air and we're here to help you keep your furry Valentine safe! 🌟💕

🐶🐱 Valentine's Day Pet Safety Tips:

1️⃣ Keep the Chocolates Out of Reach: While indulging in chocolates is a Valentine's Day tradition, remember that chocolate is toxic to pets. Keep those sweet treats safely stored away from curious paws!
2️⃣ Beware of Floral Dangers: Beautiful flowers can brighten up any space, but some plants are harmful to pets. Ensure your floral arrangements are pet-friendly and avoid lilies, tulips, and daffodils, which can be toxic to our furry friends.
3️⃣ Keep Candles Secure: Romantic candlelit dinners are lovely, but unattended candles can pose a fire hazard. Make sure to keep them in a safe place where your pets can't accidentally knock them over.
4️⃣ Pet-Safe Valentine's Gifts: When choosing gifts for your fur babies, opt for pet-friendly toys, treats, or cozy beds. Skip the human Valentine's gifts that may not be suitable for your pets' safety.
5️⃣ Create a Safe Space: If you're hosting a Valentine's Day gathering, create a quiet and secure area for your pets to retreat to. Loud noises and unfamiliar faces can be stressful for them, so give them a safe haven where they can relax.

🏥 If you have any questions or concerns about keeping your pets safe during Valentine's Day or any time of the year, feel free to reach out to us. We're here to help!

Spread the love and keep your pets safe this Valentine's Day. ❤️🐾 Share these tips with your fellow pet parents and let's ensure a happy and safe celebration for all our furry Valentines! 🐶🐱💕

Unlocking the Secrets to a Healthy Smile for Your Furry Friend!

🦷🐾✨Did you know that oral health is just as important for our pets as it is for us? This Pet Dental Health Month, let's delve into some valuable tips and tricks to ensure your beloved companion maintains a sparkling smile and optimal oral health. Here are some expert recommendations to keep those pearly whites shining bright:

1️⃣ Brushing is Key: Just like us, pets need their teeth brushed regularly to remove plaque and prevent tartar buildup. Invest in a pet-specific toothbrush and toothpaste and make it a part of your daily routine. Start slow, with short brushing sessions, and gradually increase the time as your pet becomes more comfortable.
2️⃣ Dental-Friendly Treats and Toys: Treat time can be more than just a tasty snack. Opt for dental treats and toys designed to promote chewing and help clean your pet's teeth, be sure to select items with the VOHC seal of approval. These can be a fun way to maintain oral hygiene and keep their gums healthy.
3️⃣ Balanced Diet, Healthy Teeth: A nutritious diet plays a vital role in your pet's overall health, including their oral well-being. Consult with your veterinarian to ensure your pet's diet is well-balanced, providing essential nutrients to support strong teeth and gums.
4️⃣ Regular Dental Check-ups: Just like humans, pets need regular dental check-ups and cleanings with a veterinarian. Professional cleanings and oral examinations can help detect any underlying dental issues and prevent them from progressing into more severe conditions. Your vet will also provide guidance on at-home dental care specific to your pet's needs.
5️⃣ Stay Alert: Keep an eye out for signs of dental problems in your pet, such as bad breath, excessive drooling, swollen gums, difficulty eating, or loose teeth. If you notice any of these symptoms, don't hesitate to schedule a dental examination with your veterinarian.

Remember, maintaining your pet's oral health is an investment in their overall well-being and can contribute to a longer, happier life. Let's give our furry friends the gift of a healthy smile! 😁🐶🐱💙
