Hi Friends!
I apologize that I have been sadly neglecting my Toad Mountain Ranch FB page. On the flip side, our website is up and running and you can conveniently book a vacation stay at our guest ranch in Elfrida Arizona. The website is www.toadmountain.com and you can pay with paypal. This fall we welcomed both deer and bird hunters.
I also have Instagram going with . We are currently not offering trail rides due to the high cost of liability insureance in Arizona. Our new endeavors include remodeling homes and owning and managing rental properties. You can also find me at the local farmers market with goatsmilk soap, eggs, egg aprons and vintage jewelry.
Things continue to change and evolve as we are trying to live a peaceful farm life that is sustainable with the organic plants and animals that we grow.

Last week I lost my best friend and trail riding buddy of 15 years. Sasha was my faithful companion and friend. I am forever changed for having her in my life.
It is over 100 degrees in Arizona now so suffice to say no riding is taking place now. As we look to winter, we can promote our vacation stays, horseback riding and animal encounters. Soon our new website will be LIVE so stay tuned.
Somehow we have ended up as one of the top 20 things to do in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Apparently no one got the memo that our horses are in Arizona now. Thanks for your support everyone!

Want to keep everyone up to date on our happenings! We have a contract on selling our Minnesota house, barn and arena. We still have our acerage, lake front and Toad Mountain in Minnesota. We are also doing trail rides and cabin stays near Elfrida Arizona. We love this part of Arizona that has mild summers and winters and consistently sunny days! We hope you will follow us and book a ride or vacation with us!

We are back! Now we are offering cabin stays and trailrides in Southeastern Arizona.We are located in a beautiful but seldom visited area of Arizona at an elevation of 4 thousand feet above sea level and on average 284 days of sunshine! Our 94 acre RANCH sits at the base of the Swisshelm Mountains and is near the little town of Elfrida Arizona. Elfrida has all the amenities one would expect in a small town including a fire station and community hospital. Elfrida is just a stone's throw (within a 30 minute ride) to Tombstone and Bisbee. These are great tourist towns with hiking, cave tours,wine tasting, restaurants, shopping and bird watching.
Also nearby is Sierra Vista, Douglas and the Chiricahua National Monument. Our nearest major airport is in Tucson.
We offer trail rides to the Cochise Stronghold, Swisshelm Mountains and the San Pedro River Basin.
You can book a stay in our Modern and newly renovated cabin that sleeps 4 with internet, direct tv, and ac and heat. You can also step back in time and rent our newly renovated 1880s Sheepherder Wagon. It is located on a part of our property that we are converting into a western town.
During your stay you will have access to our farm fresh eggs and other farm products in the future. We are also available for farm tours and horseback lessons in our new 100 by 300 outdoor arena.
