Persimmon picking season is in full swing now that the weather has gotten cooler. The harvest this year is a bit smaller than last year because of a late heat wave but the the quality is still very good and they are very tasty. The dogs love the persimmons too. They are always stealing persimmons from the harvest bin even though they’re supposed to be guarding the bin from other animals.
