Domino is a goofy fellow with a type of bone cancer called osteosarcoma. He underwent a front limb amputation in June and is getting by on three legs amazingly! Without amputation, Domino would need to be on lifelong pain medications. He came to see Dr. Wood today for his second chemotherapy treatment. Chemotherapy for osteosarcoma is aimed to prevent metastasis, or spread of the cancer to other parts of the body. Domino is scheduled to receive six total chemotherapy treatments and we look forward to seeing him every time.
