💔 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alaska State Trooper K9 Lenox on December 3, 2024, after suffering a medical emergency while off-duty.

K9 Lenox faithfully served alongside his handler, Trooper Brian Hibbs, since September 2019 in Fairbanks. Over his impressive 5-year career, he deployed more than 450 times, seizing illegal drugs and assets worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and helping apprehend violent offenders. His heroic actions saved lives, including his handler’s and a victim of a violent crime.

Known not only for his extraordinary skill but also for his warmth, K9 Lenox was beloved by the community, regularly attending events with schools and youth groups. His sudden loss is deeply felt by his handler, the AST family, and all those he served. 🐾💙

Rest in peace, K9 Lenox. You were truly one of a kind. 🌈✨

Old Bridge Township (NJ) Police Department’s beloved K9 Apollo will soon be receiving a brand-new bullet and stab protective vest, donated by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Amazing news! 🐾💙 K9 Obie from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office is home and recovering after being taken to the hospital on Wednesday following an altercation with a suspect. Obie showed incredible bravery, and we’re so grateful for all the support and well wishes sent his way.

Jack and Pumpkin have beaten the odds! Both pups came down with parvo after we rescued them from the local shelter, but with lots of care and determination, they’ve made amazing recoveries.

Now that they’re feeling like typical two month old puppies, Jack and Pumpkin are ready to begin their search for their forever families. They’ll be eligible to go home next week but are excited to start accepting applications now. These two resilient pups can’t wait to bring their love and playful energy into the lives of their new families!

K9 Kilo of the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office led deputies to 50 pounds of fentanyl pills and 4 pounds of co***ne during a routine traffic stop last weekend.

Deputies pulled over 31-year-old Steven Francisco Mejia for a traffic violation. After Meija appeared extremely nervous and observing a strong odor ma*****na emanating from the vehicle, deputies searched the vehicle with the help of K9 Kilo, who alerted his team to the presence of the drugs. Meija was arrested and taken into custody.
