🎅 ☃️ Santa's coming to the Second Chance Thrift Shop, 220 E. 3rd Street, Grove, for Holiday photos with your pets and family members. Photos taken by local photographers David and Bob Livesay beginning Friday night, November 17, from 4 - 7 pm, and on Saturday, November 18, from 10 am - 4 pm. Cost is $10 for a 4 x 6-inch photo in a complimentary Holiday card frame. Additional prints and digital images can be ordered as well. All proceeds benefit Second Chance Pet Rescue. Please have your dogs on a leash and cats in pet carriers. Donations for Pedigree dry and canned dog food, Purina Chow cat/kitten food, and kitty litter for Second Chance Pet Rescue will be accepted. Adopted!

This baby girl is ready for her forever home. Her name is Sail. She is a dilute calico with short hair.
She has already been spayed and will also be chipped and receive her most current shots before she is adopted.
She is quiet and snuggly but can also be fun and playful. She loves a soft blanket and she loves to make biscuits in the blanket or on your shirt ! 🐾
She is used to being around other cats and dogs. We have raised her since before she had her eyes open. She was found, along with her siblings, in a boat compartment after the boat had been sold and moved, so Mom couldn't be located.
Reply or message me if you think you might have a loving forever home for our sweet Sail. 🐈
Standard adoption fee is $60, but I believe it is half price still. 🤞

They are spayed and neutered, up to date on shots, eating hard kitten kibble, using their litter box and full of snuggles and playfulness. Can you give one or both of them their forever home ? This sweet little boy is Dock! He is a gorgeous orange marmalade tabby with a white tum!💕
He was just neutered yesterday and all he wants to do is snuggle and purr. He is fun and playful and just the perfect little boy. He's UTD on shots and ready for adoption ! 💥 Temporarily reduced adoption fees are to $30!!!!! Let me know if you want to give him a furrrever home 🏠
He currently lives in our home where he has been since he was found in a boat with no mom at about 1 week old. He eats hard kitten chow and uses his litter box like a champ 🏆 He's used to other cats, big and little dogs, birds, bunnies and a chinchilla!

He has been neutered and is available now !
💙 Dock is going to be available to adopt and take home with you after Wednesday of this week !
He is just a hair over 2 pounds and about 7 wks old. Adoption cost is currently reduced to $30 and includes his neuter, shots and microchip too.
Dock was found in a boat along with his siblings and we have fostered and bottle fed him since before his eyes were open.
Dock is eating kitten chow now and is a pro at using the litter box! He has grown up with dogs, other cats and other animals too!
He is the perfect snuggle bug 🥰
Let's set it up now so that he can go straight to his forever home after his neuter is finished.

Update: they were spayed, vaccinated and health checked and are ready for adoption now!

Four of our babies will be ready for adoption after their spay this Wednesday. ⭐ Adoption fee is reduced to $30 ⭐ These girls have all been raised by hand, in our home. They are using their litter box and eating hard food. They are exposed to other cats, dogs, kids and other animals to.
You will have to fill out an application and be approved by Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake
Their names are : Flounder, Ariel, Carlotta and Scuttle (all girls).
Please take one (or more) of these girls home and keep them from needing to stay in the shelter. They have been in our home up until now. 💕
Back stories: Ariel was rescued from the street by a kind stranger. She has burns on her little pads from the hot pavement. The other three are sisters. They were in a different shelter and we took them in to ensure they had a chance. These four have stayed together for some time, and love one another

All have been adopted

These are babies that we bottle fed and fostered and then turned over to the shelter for adoption. They were never supposed to stay there this long. 🙏These babies were hand raised and exposed to other pets and people. Good babies 🐈 Please GO Rescue and adopt our kitties (or one of the many other kitties) at the shelter. They should be open on Sunday and closed Mon & Tues.
