Looking for a fun, meaningful way to spread love this Valentine’s Day? Let one of our rescue pups deliver it for you! ❤️

✨ Options:
• $5 suggested donation – a dog photo + Valentine message
• $10 suggested donation (or 3 for $25) – a personalized Valentine featuring the recipient’s name, a dog photo, bio, and sweet message

🎁 Calling all supporters & local businesses! 🎁

We’re putting together some exciting upcoming raffles to help support our rescue dogs, and we’re looking for gift card donations of any amount. Whether you’re a local business or an individual supporter, your generosity helps us continue saving lives.

All proceeds from these fundraisers will go directly toward vet bills. While some of you may have seen that we were incredibly fortunate to receive a generous grant from the Loeb Foundation to help fund the construction of a new building on our property, we will always have ongoing veterinary expenses — and fundraising remains essential to our mission.

WTLI alumnus needs our help- she has been diagnosed with Addison's Disease and is ready to live her best life but needs a new place to call home!
Basics:
Name: Suki
Age: 2 years old
Breed: Lab mix
Size: Medium
Suki is a unique case because she has been diagnosed with Addison's Disease. While a diagnosis of Addison's Disease can sound scary, the prognosis for this sweet girl is really good. As long as Suki receives her monthly shots and her daily oral medication, she can live a normal, long and happy life. Stress can exacerbate her symptoms which is why putting Suki at the rescue is not in her best interest. That is what makes the January deadline so crucial to her wellbeing!!! We need a foster or adoptive home for her by January 26th!!
Suki needs a new home because: her owner is deployed and thus is no longer home. She has been staying with a family member but at the end of the month, that will no longer be an option due to work requirements.
Suki needs a home:
-with/without another dog- being with another dog tends to help Suki feel more comfortable/relaxed but it is not a requirement.
-without kids
-with a person or people that understand her diagnosis and are committed to giving her the medication she needs on a very strict schedule-- getting her medication a few days late is very detrimental to her
-with someone that is willing to go slow with Suki. She does become very anxious and has had a few minor bite incidents as a result. She does do a good job using her body language to tell you how she is feeling.

Suki is:
-house-trained and crate-trained
-fixed and up-to-date on her vaccines
-an absolute sweetheart that
Fun facts about Suki:
-she loves to carry her Lamb Chop stuffie with her wherever she goes

Meet Scout — a 5-month-old mixed breed puppy who is ready to find his forever home! 🐾💙

Scout is shaping up to be the perfect family dog. He’s both dog-friendly and kid-friendly, and while he hasn’t been cat tested yet, he’s eager to learn and take on new experiences. Scout is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines.

He’s currently thriving in a foster home, where he’s learning important skills like crate training and house training. Most of all, Scout is just the sweetest boy with a loving personality and a heart full of joy — he cannot wait to meet his future family.
