Park Hours: Dawn to dusk 7 days a week
Use of the dog park is at your own risk. Each owner is solely responsible and liable for the actions of their dog(s).
Small Dog Area: For dogs weighing 30 pounds or less
Large Dog Area: For dogs weighing more than 30 lbs
PARK RULES
Use of the dog park is at your own risk. Each owner is solely responsible and liable for the actions of their dog(s).
Park users must be 18 years or older. No one under 18, accompanied or unaccompanied, is allowed in the park at any time.
Each park user is limited to a maximum of three dogs in the park at a time.
Dogs must be properly vaccinated and showing no signs of illness or injury. Proof of current license and rabies vaccination must be on the dog’s collar.
All dogs must be spayed or neutered. Dogs less than 6 months of age are not permitted in the park.
Aggressive, assertive, unruly, fearful, and under socialized dogs are prohibited.
Dogs are to remain leashed outside of the dog park fencing. Owners shall remove dog leashes once inside the gated entrance way, and keep the leash in their possession at all times.
Prong, choke, spike and pinch collars are prohibited in the park. They pose a risk to dogs and dog owners.
Owners must have their dog in sight and under voice command at all times. If a dog is left unattended, the Harrisburg Police Animal Control Unit will be contacted.
Dog toys are limited to tennis balls only - no other toys are permitted. For your safety, do not interfere in any dog play.
Food (dog or human), glass containers, and smoking are prohibited in the park.
All owners must clean up after their dog(s). All waste must be bagged and disposed of properly in the marked receptacles. All personal items must be taken with you upon leaving the park.
Parking along driveways or on the grass is prohibited. Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas are subject to being towed.
Park use is prohibited from dusk until dawn. Park may close due to inclement weather at the discretion of Friends of Midtown. No one shall enter the park if signage indicates that park is closed.
Violators of the above rules will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of park privileges. Violators are liable for any damage or civil or criminal penalties as a result of the violation(s).
