Loving my pet sitting business. Not only do I get to hang out with sweet puppers, I also get to be the visiting servant to cats. Being the aloof creator cats can be it is an honor to me when they come to check me out.

I am in Houston on vacation and this sweet girl's owner left her behind when she moved out. The homeowner works long hours, 12+ hours a day so Athena is stuck in her crate with only a couple hours per day to live life. I'm glad I'm here for a few days to let her hang out with me. Though she really is not familiar with me she has been so sweet, playful, and entertaining.

Pray she is available to get a forever home before I leave.

As a pet sitter some of my clients' pets are allowed to sleep with me when I spend the night(s) at their home. It never ceases to amaze me how even the smallest of pets can hog the bed. They ALL get in the dead center of the bed and then pushes me to the end of the bed and takes the covers. 🤦‍♀️
I love bed hogs.

One of my clients had an unfortunate situation just prior to their departure. Now understand that "livestock" care is not a service I provide; however, I am a person that feels if I can help in any way, I will. Some neighboring dogs attached my client's hens and injured one of them. She thought the hen might not make it so I offered to bury it if that occurred. On my last visit I happily discovered that the hen was up and moving as best it could with its injured leg. I was pleased to be able to text my client and tell her that the hen might make it although its name might need to be "Gimpy".

I have had numerous meet & greets this past week. Every one of the owners and pups have been amazing. Sweet pups like Chloe, Pepper, Daisy, Jr., Sophie, Millie, Willow, and River to name a few. They all have made me smile and brought joy to my heart. Their owners are exceptional loving pawrents. I am blessed.

A week after walking these two cuties twice a day, Riley, who wouldn't come to me in the beginning, is now coming and sitting in my lap for loving. Sophie, the wiggly piggily pup, is learning to walk on a leash. I am hoping to work with her on learning that humans hurt when treated as chew toys. One step at a time. I love my clients.

Ruby, the sweet black lab, came to visit with us for a few days. She loves walking and hanging with our pack.
Caring for your pet by providing drop-ins, house setting, pet taxi, and walks to residents in the NNK is what I do.

Do you need to get your pet to a vet appointment or need to get him/her to a groomer? Boone's Retreat Pet Services is there for you. We will pick your pet up for you while you are at work or unable to get your pet to the vet or groomer yourself. After the appointment we will bring you pet home. Payment to vet and/or groomer shall be paid via pet owner.
