It was a sad week here.
Most know our sweet old girl that loves to greet you & your pups…it tears me apart to say it was her time to cross the rainbow bridge Friday.
My family is not the same & even with all these kids here the house is too quiet & her space is too empty. It’s a wound like no other & for anyone who is going through the same thing, my heart goes out to you.
I got Carly when I was just 19 as a special addition to our family. Watching her and my daughter grow together has been such a sight to see. There will never be a dog like her again. The best protector over my babies.

Dogs really are family & it’s a wound that’s going to take forever to heal.

I began my journey and building clients in October 2019.
I went from grooming on my bathroom counter to a table in my living room & finally saved enough money for all my grooming necessities where I set up shop in my garage.
Some days bring joy and challenges, just like any career. But, being able to groom from home has been such a blessing. I have been able to make my own schedule to fit my childrens needs, be able to stay at home with my last baby & keep my household afloat.
I’ve gotten to know quite a bit of you & some amazing dogs that I am so blessed y’all have trusted me with.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce I will be moving to Nebraska this summer. My husband got a new job & it was with a lot of prayer & trust in the plan to make this big decision. Our hope is to make our way back to Texas soon. When that may be I have no clue, but as much as I am nervous, I'm trying to remain positive and look forward to a change!

With all that being said, May will be my last month working. I didn’t want to announce it until I knew our plans were a for sure thing. This way y’all have time to find a new groomer and get on their schedule.
I pray you continue to trust me with your sweet pups until then and understand my transition.
I’m so sorry for the inconvenience & I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me as your groomer 💗

If any of my customers see me chasing after a beagle around the neighborhood just know it’s not lost, it is mine and she always returns. & it’s a love/hate relationship. I feed her, give her love, spoil her but she’s constantly trying to get away. I am absolutely so blessed to be able to work from home. When I found out I was pregnant with him I knew I was going to work my butt off to make this business work. I was always so sad leaving my babies to go to work & now I get the best of both worlds. Some days are crazy. Some days I highly regret not separating work life and mom life because….TODDLERS ARE BIPOLAR. But overall….10/10 recommend 😍

On todays episode of “Grooming with my helper”…… 😂 Also, anyone else always get a sinus infection around this time of year? Or is it just us?

My little “helper” just wanted Mac to play the fighting game with him lol. See? He’s such a good boy 😭♥️

Meet Milo💙 The sweetest Husky I have ever groomed. I vacuum after every dog but it’s impossible to get all that hair up 🤣 We call it glitter here.

Look at all that hair!!! A good scrubbing & extra brushing can help all that shedding.

If you have never had a Dane before I strongly advise you to consider it. The worse puppy you will ever own, lord knows I made for sale signs for this dog at least 3 times because she tore my house UP! But she made it through and as she’s getting older now, tumors all over and doesn’t act the same I can’t help but think of everything she has been through with us. I think most people have that one dog…you know the one of a kind dog. The one in a lifetime dog. This is ours, there will never be another like her. There will never be any other dog that could ever replace her patience, her kindness or her loyalty. What breed was your childhood dog?

Coco was getting all the loving while waiting on her owners to come pick her up. She was all played out & falling asleep sitting in my arms 😍

Y’all know when you drop your child off to daycare and they start crying because they want to be with you instead but when you pick up the sitter says “He did great! Never cried once!”? That’s what usually happens for the groomer as well! Everyone meet Buckles. He’s just a puppy and this is his first time going to a groomer. His mama was nervous since they groomed him at home once and he was acting out. I’m proud to say he felt comfortable with me and I was able to get him done in an hour because he did so well! Wanted to video him so I could show his mama! 😍
