💙 This is Sir Noggin 💙 a handsome tabby that came from our last batch of TNR kitties- and not only was he friendly... but he also has health concerns.

We couldn't put him back outside to suffer, we personally do not believe he would have survived this winter.
Today he got some blood work and a snap/viral test done, we will have the results in a few days!

If the results come back clear, we will be looking for a foster-to-adopt family.

If they come back not clear- we will need to map out a game plan on what we are gonna do to give him a chance at life.

Either way? This boy has absolutely captured our hearts, and he was actively suffering on the streets.
He is the biggest snuggle bug, and he is so loving.. he loves kisses on his noggin and he will give you cute bonks for more kisses and snuggs. He doesn't seem bothered by other cats, and he doesn't seem to mind small children if they move slow.

Love is 100% his language - he will do whatever you ask of him if it means he can get some kisses n scritches. Carrier and car ride? No problem! Vets office? A lil spooky, but for some smooches?- no problem! Needle pokes? As long as the awesome vet ladies give him some lovins!

Noggin has some weight to gain- thankfully he's already up a whole pound since intake!!

💗 TWENTY COMMUNITY CATS 💗

We went all out for our last feral cat day of the season!! (We are a very small rescue with only a couple part-time volunteers)

Half of the kitties were from Sun Valley - a local trailer park our Director spent her teen years in.. so we are personally invested in getting control over the colony population there.

The rest were from random corners of Jackson- and now, twenty more cats CANT reproduce anymore! They have been fixed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, given ivermectin and capstar for parasites, pain meds and looked over for health concerns.

Turning a blind eye during TNR is NOT an option, this baby was SUFFERING on the streets.. we are so thankful for everyone helping us! 💗💗💗

Yesterday morning we took on this poor guy to look after him until he's feeling better and goes to foster, then hopefully a loving home after that! He came from Healing Lotus Animal Rescue LLC and was trapped with their last batch of TNR kiddos. It was decided he couldn't go back outdoors looking like he did, so I offered to give him some TLC here. He has large open wounds behind each ear, indicative of an ear infection that is bothering him so bad he's digging himself open. I'll post a photo of that in the comments. He also has some icky eyes and so along with treating the ear infection, I'm going to make sure we do a snap test, a chip scan, and get him vaccinated before he heads back to foster. So far, he's very nervous but ate like there is no tomorrow and allows some gentle petting. I'm looking forward to getting him feeling better and hopefully turning his life around. ❤️ Thanks for your support so I can easily say yes to animals like this. This is what rescue is; networking and working together to help the lives of each animal we can.

❤️ Minnie has been ADOPTED!!! ❤️

Meet Minnie! Formerly "skinny Minnie", this girl was a transfer from Healing Lotus Animal Rescue LLC because honestly I had been casually looking for another beardie to love after losing two of my oldies over the last year and a half. My hope is that she will be able to go to events with us and join the ambassadors. Keep an eye out for her at upcoming fundraisers!

This is Laurie and Kody ♥️

Kody is an HLAR alumni- him, his brother and mother came to us two years ago on Christmas after being abandoned and tied outside with no food or shelter when their owners were evicted.
If it wasn't for The Karens finding them- they wouldn't have survived. They provided shelter, food and clean water- but they had nowhere for the pups to go.

Here's where Laurie came into the story.

She didn't even hesitate when she saw the post about them needing placement, she messaged us right away asking if she could foster them under our rescue. She took BOTH of the boys, and Mama Bella was fostered by our director.
She foster-failed with Kody and adopted him, RJ and Bella were adopted out to different families.

⭐ So here's the situation ⭐

We got a message from Laurie this morning- because of the recent hiccups with our government and the ongoing struggle the American people are having to maintain basic needs.. she is slightly behind on her rent. If she doesn't pay her rent within 6-7 days, she will have to go through the eviction process.
And Kody will have nowhere to go. This isn't an option, the holidays are upon us.

⭐ We are looking to raise at least $150-200 to help Laurie so she can keep Kody and her place of residence ⭐

⭐Birdie and Sylvia have been ADOPTED!!!⭐

We are excited that these two sisters get to spend their entire lives together and they are SO spoiled already- updated pics will be posted once they settle in ♥️♥️♥️

These two girls are half of the "Doordash Purritos" we unexpectedly got in September, and the other two (Tiny and Max) are PENDING adoption!

This is Cher ♥️ (yes- another FEMALE orange!)

She stayed with us for a few weeks and the lady that brought her to us even sponsored her first two vet appointments!

She was supposedly feral, then a woman took her in several years ago and she adapted to indoor living. Then when the woman’s son moved in with her, he was allegedly mean to Cher. The woman passed away suddenly and when the son moved out, it was said by a neighbor that he threw the cat out to fend for herself.

This sweet girl only has a few teeth left, she was missing lots of hair on her back end, and she had lumps on her belly- (potential mammary tumors) she was suffering on her own outside.

We transferred her for more specialized care - and once she is given the all clear by the vet, she will be adoptable through Saved by Zade 🫶🏻

Once upon a midnight dreary, I found myself wandering the shadows, declawed and alone — a once-beloved house cat lost to the world. But fear not! I’ve been rescued, restored, and am now seeking a cozy castle of my own.

I desire only the simplest of luxuries: a warm lap, gentle pets, and a quiet home where I can nap in peace for the rest of my days.

Just because we are a lil quiet on socials, doesn't mean we are quiet behind the scenes!! We have been busy at work 😌

❤️13 kitties fixed this week!❤️

Keep an eye out for Adoptables to be posted soon!!! If kitties are friendly, we don't like putting them back outside. Ferals are a bit of a different story, and even then- we try to find barn homes if they don't have a caretaker.

❤️ Another successful transfer, thank you Erika for doing transportation for us! ❤️

Bucket of Beans was surrendered to us in September, he has an open eye socket and has been living like that for lord knows how long. We kept it clean daily and a vet will be checking him over before he gets adopted. There is a possibility he will need surgery, at a minimum he will need an x-ray to make sure there is no infection in his facial bones.

Pinto Bean was found as a stray and was transported over to us on Friday. We were asked to hold onto her until transportation could be arranged for both buns to kzoo, not an issue whatsoever! This girl is such a loving rabbit, she loves snacks and she absolutely adores being pet. She will also throw around anything that isn't heavy just to get your attention, it's beyond adorable. 🥰

Rabbits aren't pocket pets like pet stores claim, they need a lot more care than you think- but it is SO worth it.

⭐ These two cuties will be fixed, vetted and available for adoption through Rabbit Angels Rabbit Rescue ~ any adoption inquiries and donations for these rabbits need to be directed to them ⭐
