This soap was a special order. There is something very satisfying about cutting a bar of soap, lol
Baby goats loving their new play ground!
The baby goats are loving their new play area.
Our lil visitors we are "kid" sitting for a local goat breeder friend while she's taking a well deserved break and actually getting to vacation with her family. Those of us in the ag world know those breaks are few and far between. We have enjoyed watching these cuties for her. Hoping she and her family had a wonderful time!β€
We have been "kid" sitting for a goat breeder friend so she was able to take her family on a much deserved vacation. These lil cuties have been model visitors, not caused a lick of trouble. Here they are getting breakfast from the lambbar.
First lil visitors for the year in the house for a bit. Our babies are bottle raised so stay in for the first bit to get warmed up and full tummies. The corgis always like the little visitors

Boone likes to "help" feed baby goats.
It's piggy day here, litter #3 here from Joy x Rhett. 7 piglets so far, first one was DOA holding up the show. We got that one moved out and so far 6 healthy active littles. We plan to retain one gilt from this pairing. The remaining will be available at weaning. This litter is full kunekune, should be very nice pigs. π
And this lil ray of π sunshine is Petunia and her brand new litter. I haven't been brave enough to pick up her piglets to count yetπ¨. Lol. I know there is at least 10, might be 12. She kinda gave me the "back off beeeeoch" growl so I'll respect that for the moment. This is kinda typical Petunia.....after her hormones chill in a few days she becomes more approachable. She has been a great mom though and these littles will be great pigs π
We woke to a passel of piglets this morning, 2 new litters. This is the first litter, Thelma with her littles....12! She's a fantastic mom, has always raised large healthy litters for us. The majority of these will be available at weaning. We may retain a gilt or 2 from this litter. They are from one of our registered kunekune boars, Rhett. Rhett is massive!! These should be very nice pigletsπ·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π·π· π
A lil something to help you get thru your Monday....the 'lils are starting to get playful!
