Starting June 5th, we have elected to change our Saturday clinic hours to every other Saturday. We will continue to be open from 8am-12pm on the Saturday’s that we are open.

We hope for understanding as we, as parents, work to balance our kiddos lives with our own passion and joy for your pets!! Please know that we remain committed to our clients and their pets — that will never change!! Let’s have a great summer!!

We have missed you guys!!!

Starting Monday, May 3rd, we would like to invite our human friends to accompany pets inside for visits!

We will still be offering curbside and drop off appointments for those that would like to continue to utilize these services.

We will still be practicing social distancing as much as possible, so please call (865-691-8387) to check-in and we will greet you outside when an exam room or lobby is available.

We ask that only one person accompany the pet inside and that they wear a mask over the nose and mouth throughout the appointment.

We can't wait to see you!

This is Nichole Fiore, she is one of our veterinary assistants! Along side of her is her dog Luna who goes to Belva for her haircuts! Luna is a sweet scruffy girl that always loves getting groomed!

Nichole’s fun fact: She has only ever worked at PVH, and she has been here for going on 12 years!

Along side that, Nichole loves all of the clients that come in. Squirrels, pugs, geckos and all!

We don’t see horses anymore, but for a friend- we checked out this colt that was born this morning.

Who says Saturday mornings can’t be fun? Layla is so patient with puppy Jinx and is such an awesome dog!

Layla works hard around here babysitting some of our client dogs, considering what to get mom Jan Barker Hackett for her birthday and supporting the front office staff. This is little Lotus, a Recycled Best Friends, Dog Rescue adoptable hanging out while foster mom gets travel paperwork ready for 5 other RBF rescues that have found happy homes.

Hudson update, a ROANE County Humane Society Rescue dog currently undergoing treatment after discovered thrown away in the trash. He has been staying off and on at Pellissippi Vet receiving supportive care. Hudson. Gaining weight. Eating well Skin treatments starting to work hair is growing back. Heartworm treatment to start in about a week. Happy boy.

We hear there are applicants just waiting to meet the Ice Cream Truck Litter. You have come a far way from the wormy, starving, skin infection pups of 4 weeks ago. We received this thank you and update today on one of our littlest clients. Sophia the Rescue Ewok came to us with two genetically displaced knee caps and Dr Hackett performed surgery to get her up and running. It sure worked! She is much loved by her mom Beth. Thanks for sharing.
