Have you done one of our trail, desensitizing clinics? Want to test your trail skills in our advanced clinic? We are going to host a one day Advanced Trail/Desensitizing Clinic Sunday, September 29th at Lone Star Ranch in La Pine, Oregon.
This clinic will test what you learned in our first clinic and build on that. There will be new trail obstacles and scenarios. We will bring out the drone, motorized vehicles, as well as other fun things.
$175 for the one-day clinic. $100 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot. Limited camping at the ranch. No fee for camping at your trailer. Will have limited stalls available for $20/night.

This clinic is for all levels of riders who feel like they need that little extra help on the trail. Whether it’s how to handle a barn or buddy sour horse, safely approaching and crossing obstacles, best way to handle encountering pedestrians, vehicles, dogs and mountain bikers on the trail. Or you have that young horse you just need help building confidence on. We can help!! Come build your trust and communication with your horse all while focused on you and your horses safety and comfort level. There will be a combination of in-hand, mounted, arena and trail time.🔸
🔹Coffee and muffins will be provided in the mornings. Friday night we will have a pizza dinner.🔹
🔸$325 for two-day clinic. $100 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot. Auditors welcome $25/day or $40/weekend. Schedule is Friday 9-4 (two hour Lunch) Saturday 9-3 (one hour Lunch). Thursday we’ll offer private and small group lessons.

Camping Clinic!!!! Who wants to go camping with a trainer? Have you always wanted to go horse camping but didn’t want to go by yourself? Not sure you’re ready to go camping with your horse? Want someone with experience there to help and answer questions? If so then this horse camping weekend is for you! September 20th-22nd at Quinn Meadow Horse Camp.
We will check in Friday, go for a short ride after dinner. Saturday we will start early with a longer ride which we’ll stop and have lunch a long the way. Then wrapping up Sunday with another short ride. Before our rides, we will have a short briefing on safety, trail etiquette, and what to expect that day. Friday we will do camp checks and go over camping must haves!
We will provide and cook a cowboy dinner Friday and Saturday night.
This clinic is open to riders who have ridden with us in a previous clinic or have been in our training/lesson program. Fee for the clinic is $350 not including your site booking fee. You must book your own site and this is recommended to be done asap.

We made a couple trips to Ogden trail head this past month with our training horses, Red, Anna, Liam, Saphyra, and Finale. They all had some great life lessons about water, hikers, mountain bikes, big bridges and the random toss of the Red Vines bag 😉😆

Here’s what we’ve been up to lately. Everything from starting a few horses under saddle, doing ground work on youngin’s and putting more trail/desensitizing miles in. It’s been a very busy and blessed summer so far!

I’m sure as many of you know there is a wildfire in La Pine near our ranch. Thankfully, it is moving in the other direction at this time. All of our horses are safe. We do have trucks and trailers ready if we need to evacuate, but currently we are helping with evacuating others and our barn is open if anybody needs a safe place for their animals to go.

A float starts at $225, with additional charges for extra sedation or correction of significant malocclusions.
If she floated the horse within the last 15 months, the float starts at $200.
Sheath cleaning is available for $25.

What an awesome clinic weekend to start off our year! Thank you to all our participants who came out and even braved the rain/hail showers. I really enjoyed working with each one of you and your mounts. Everyone did great and improved over the weekend ❤️🐴 We even added another horse to the list of successfully riding over the floating bridge.
If you missed this clinic, we still have a few spots available for May 31st/June 1st clinic.
