Today was so special🥹 The Reads had the perfect match join their family after months of actively looking. They stayed patient, didn’t jump at the first horse they saw and were rewarded big time. Never have I seen a horse click so well with new owners. Not to mention its a crazy only God story that she ended up finding this family….. So happy for you guys, you got an absolute gem of a horse❤️ Not to mention Champ got a pretty cool sister🥰🐴

Our first meeting was a huge success! We had a smaller group this first time due to scheduling conflicts! Those of you who missed it we look forward to having you join next week😌

We had beginner moms getting a feel for this riding thing, advanced moms learning how to do roll backs etc, and all skill levels in between! We had conversations around horses, must read books and of course kids😉 We drank coffee and cheered for each others success! There were smiles and laughs all around. We hit a lesson record today of 33 lessons between Coach Ashley, Kelsi and Miranda. We still managed to squeeze in an off property barrel practice…. As you can imagine we hit the ground running and ran all day! Thank you all for making this possible, couldn’t do it without each and every one of you💕

2 announcements!

1. Race day tomorrow at Triple Crown Equestrian Center in Lincoln CA. Races start 6:30 and anyone is welcome to come watch🥰

2. We have our first official mom’s club meeting tomorrow. In classic Miranda style (last minute) we are putting together the time slots now. If you haven’t already DM’d me, you are still able to join. Don’t be worried, we have every level of rider joining, even some first timers. Coffee, community, helmets and a tacked up horse ready to go is provided! You will know your 15 minutes of instructed ride time before you show. You’re welcome to show up 9 am or come before and after your specific time slot if you can only get away for a little while. We are so excited to get this up and running, coach Kelsi and I will be instructing riders so not all eyes will be on you. Only support from this fun group and we can’t wait to see you there💕

All smiles for a 26 lesson day💕 GREAT NEWS: Most people know that Cinch had a bad accident out in pasture several months ago. His condition was so severe that I had an appointment set to put him down…. After consulting with my vet, we decided to call a bodyworker out. She worked on Cinch for a couple hours and believed he could come out the other side. I was just fingers crossed he would feel good enough to pasture retire! Cinch not only pulled through, but had his first day back in the program with a clean bill of health today! We are very appreciative of our veterinarian, body worker, and the countless hours that our volunteers spent rehabbing him (you know who you are❤️).

Cinch’s return to the program is not the only piece of good news. Thanks to the addition of Kelsi as our third instructor, we have worked through our waiting list! For the first time in a longggg time we have lesson spots available🎉 Please email [email protected] if you are interested! It’s a busy barn with the very BEST community of people and we would love to have you join💕

Good Evening!
We are beginning our 2nd week officially working and training at our new location and we are loving seeing how excited everyone is about the new space! As Miranda was preparing for this move, she knew that in order to expand the program to meet the needs of all the wonderful students we have, she was going to need to get some extra help and so we would like to introduce Ashley Gross as the newest member of the Hooves and Hearts team!

Ashley may be new to the team, but she is not new to the Hooves and Hearts family! Her son, Parker has been learning to ride and rope from Miranda since 2021 and her daughter Taylor has been riding with Miranda since 2022. Ashley even helped Miranda with some of Cisko’s training when he first came to the ranch.

Ashley comes to us with many years’ experience riding. She has competed in “3 Day Eventing” (dressage, stadium jumping and cross country) and she most recently has adopted a 3 year old BLM mustang and has been training him for the past year.

We will be encouraging our students who have an interest in riding that aligns with the areas of Ashley’s expertise to start working with her exclusively. Her knowledge and experience will be invalueable to those students who wish to further their English riding lessons. She wil also be working with some of our new students and younger riders where there is a need so that we can continue to meet the demand for lessons in this community.

We hope that you are as excited to work with Ashley as we are and we hope that everyone will give her a warm welcome (if you haven’t already seen her around!). Thank you everyone for your patience during this move - we are greatful for all of the support we have received.

Order forms are OPEN‼️This merch will get here before Christmas and makes a perfect gift🎄Stickers, clothing and hats🥳 There were emails sent out, if you did not receive it please email [email protected]. I will also be adding a live link to our story later today. As always the shirts/sweatshirts are able to be customized with your name underneath the logo😊 Order forms close FRIDAY November 17th! They will not be open again for several months.

T-Shirts, Long Sleeve Shirts, zip up sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, and crewneck sweatshirts. Children and Adult sizing!

The hat forms have been on a lot of people’s list. We have Grey&Teal available and Black&White! Stickers are open again as well (at the bottom of shirt order form).

Any heartland fans?🙋🏼‍♀️ Becky a client turned friend decided to take lessons in preparation for a ride with Amber Marshall from the series Heartland! We were happy to help her feel confident and comfortable in the saddle prior to taking this trip of a lifetime. Thank you Becky for trusting us💕 Your one lucky cowgirl😍

Yesterday was a first for H&H❤️ My AMAZING assistant Sarah and hard working student-worker Hannah ran/coached a gymkhana almost entirely on their own. I showed up once to coach some new girls through competition nerves, but Hannah and Sarah did 99% of it including pulling the trailer. They allowed me to attend a family day that was already on the calendar!

Had the Portelli family out at the ranch today😍 Danielle & Mary started lessons several months ago. They have been working towards barrel racing goals together as a mom and daughter🥹

Today Danielle’s boys got to come out and ride, pretty soon Anne (the youngest) will be joining the family! Happy to have you all here at Hooves and Hearts🥰

Had an absolute blast today letting Cisko and Lakota see thier first full jump course😍 Huge shoutout to Amber who was amazing schooling Lakota and letting us come out to her place. I had such great time taking Cisko through various combinations, not to mention he officially got sticked today at 17.2 hands🔥 Big boy! Dang it’s been a long road to recovery. Took Red and a couple students out to @triplecrownequestriancenter tonight for practice. This run is half speed (actively slowing him down) and he still managed to pull a 22 second run. This horse cannot wait to go and I cannot wait to let him…. Makings of a professional barrel horse.
