Don’t forget our vaccine clinic is just a week away!

The shelter will be hosting its quarterly pet vaccine clinic on Saturday May 20th. We will be handing out 80 tickets the morning of the event. These tickets are required to partake in the clinic to receive vaccines. The clinic begins at 9 a.m. however, we will begin to pass out tickets as early as 8 a.m. Please be aware that it could take several hours before your number is called as we expect the clinic to end at 1 p.m.

Attendees will be waiting outside until their number is announced. There is no seating available or protection from the weather, however, attendees are more than welcome to wait in their vehicles once they have received their ticket.

All dogs must remain on a leash no longer than 6 ft. and cats must remain in a carrier.

Clients are welcome to pay via card, cash, or check. A purchase of a pet license is mandatory of Aurora pets receiving a rabies vaccine. Visit https://www.auroragov.org/cms/One.aspx?portalId=16242704... for more information on available vaccines and pricing.

If you have any questions, please email our vaccine clinic coordinator at [email protected] or call the shelter directly at 303.326.8280.

We are running low on soft training treats for our staff and volunteers to use when socializing with the dogs in our care. If you are able to donate some treats we would greatly appreciate it! You can see a few soft treat brands that we like to use on our Amazon wishlist.

If you are going by the store and want to just drop some off at the shelter, we are open 7 days a week (M-F 11:30-6:30, weekends 11-4pm).

Our address is: 1241 W. Bayaud Ave, Denver, CO 80223

Boop!

Pad Thai is waiting to find his new family. Volunteers say he is a super sweet guy! If you are looking to adopt a new family member, remember to look at your local animal shelter. All across the country animal shelters are full with animals looking for loving homes. If you already have enough pets, you can help by sharing social media posts about animals that are available for adoption to help spread the word. You never know who is going to see your post and be inspired to adopt!

Check our Pad Thai's adoption profile on our website! We are open 7 days a week for adoption visits and our website is updated hourly with who is currently available for adoption.

Where are our fosters who love the goofy boys?? This is another guy that is in route to us... say hello to Kingsley!

Please note -- these guys are already vetted!! This could be a very quick turn around... so if you are worried about having a foster in place for an extended time, that shouldn't be the case with these guys! We'll give them a little time to settle in so you can get to know them and profile them and then they'll be ready for their forever homes!
