Vigna del Sole Farmstead is a working Lavender Farm and Event Venue located in the heart of the Lodi, California wine country. The farmstead is surrounded by Lodi's most pristine vineyard along with the barns and historic buildings from Lodi's long farming history. The vineyards on the west side of the farmstead present stunning sunsets views with Mount Diablo in the backdrop. The eastern view showcases the Sierra Nevada Mountains and vivid sunrises. .

A customers request to create an Enchanted Witches Besom Stick with fresh pine, herbs and touches of fall colors. Made this with fresh aptos pine, dwarf mugo pine, tuscan blue rosemary, greek sage, thyme, basil, amber reed grass, white english and french dentata lavender, nandina blooms with a dried sunset rose. Superbly dried Greek sage and oregano. 👌🌿 Cutting these herbs early in the morning is best to preserve their oils and natural compounds. Then hang drying them in a very warm, dry and dark spot helps them dry quickly and with fabulous color.

Herb de Provence Spinach Dip 💚💜 Our fav recipe if you want to try it. 😋

Ingredients
10 oz Frozen Chopped Spinach
1 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Mayo
1/3 cup Milk
2 tsp Olive Oil
2 oz Dehydrated Mixed Vegetable’s
2 tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder
2 tsp Vigna del Sole Herbs de Provence

Mix all ingredients and be sure to drain out excess water in spinach. Best to make the day ahead and refrigerate so that the vegetables will soften.
Serve with pita chips or sliced baguettes.

Tuscan Garden Salmon with Herbs de Provence, spinach, tomatoes and feta served two ways. For him over penne pasta and for her low carb with heart of palm angel hair pasta. ingredients16 oz wild caught salmon diced1/3 cup olive oil1/3 red wine2 cup tomatoes diced1/3 c greek olives2 tbsp lemon juice2 cup fresh spinach2 tbsp her de provence4 fresh garlic cloves pressed8 oz feta cheesemethodIn a nonstick pan place garlic, tomatoes and olive oil over medium heat approx 3 mins. Add in salmon, olives, herbs de provence, lemon juice and spinach. Let cook approx 3 mins stirring. Ad wine and stir then let cook 2 mins. Place feta cheese in the middle for another 2 mins or until melted then mix together. Cutting in the west garden this morning. 🌿💚 Greek sage (Salvia fruticosa) is a plant native to the Eastern Mediterranean that’s known for its distinctive aroma and flavor, as well as its many uses in gardens, rituals, culinary, essential oils and for holistic medicine. When used medicinally, Greek sage leaves can be used to make tea, which is sometimes taken for sore throats and mouths. Our Story

Nestled amongst the most pristine vineyards in the Lodi, California wine country, lies Vigna del Sole Farmstead, a working Lavender Farm and Event Venue. The farmstead is surrounded by vineyards with varietals of Zinfandel, Merlot, Pinoir, Chardonnay and Berger grapes along with the historic farmhouses, barns and outbuildings from Lodi's long farming history. The properties own, historic Bunk House, built in the early 1940’s, has been carefully restored and renovated maintaining much of the original structures architectural design. The creative recycling and up-cycling of the buildings old redwood timbers, siding, doors and windows have been integrated into many design elements to preserve the history of this old beauty. The interior of the building has rustic oak plank flooring and an open redwood beam construction. The old corrugated metal barn, located on the north side, also has it’s original open beam redwood timbers, and gives access to the west garden. Looking past the lavender field, towards the south side of the farmstead is the famous, Old Glory Barn, one of the most photographed barns in the area. The vineyards adjacent to the western side of the farm present stunning sunsets views with Mount Diablo in the backdrop. The eastern views are of newly planted Chardonnay vines which frame the Sierra Nevada Mountains and vivid sunrises. The Berger grapes that surround the property are harvested and sold to Korbel Winery for the production of Champagnes and sparkling wines. The Farmstead is located in the heart of Lodi's wine country and within just a few minute drive of award winning wineries such as Oak Farm Vineyards, St. George, Michael David, Viaggio, Stama and Lucas.
