Today, we remember and honor our beloved family dog, Sandy, who passed away. Sandy was more than just a pet; she was a beacon of love, loyalty, and companionship. Her gentle nature and endless amount of love made every day brighter.

Sandy’s legacy lives on through our dog and logo sake, Bentley. She taught him what it means to be truly great – to be caring, brave, and always ready for an adventure. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the many wonderful memories and laughs she always provided.

Thank you, Sandy, for everything. We all love you and you will always be in our hearts. 🐾💖

Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms out there, including those too our furry friends! Today, I want to share a special story about our beloved friend, Scout.

Scout's journey began in a shelter in DC, where her mom was a stray. She was born there and faced a challenging start to life. After being adopted out and then returned, Scout struggled with trust and behavioral issues. After being adopted by her loving forever family, it took two years of dedicated training and hard work to help her function normally. Even then, it was another five years before she could fully trust people outside of her family.

Despite her difficult past, Scout has blossomed into the most loving and loyal companion. She teaches us resilience, patience, and the incredible transformation that can happen with love and care.

On this Mother's Day, let's remember that every pet, like Scout, deserves a chance at a loving home. If you're considering adding a furry family member, please consider adopting from shelters. You never know the extraordinary bond that awaits you. 🐶💕

Dog of the Week: Alfred and Adeline the original Hounds. In my life, Alfred has been one of my best buddies for the last ten years always there to be silly and of course make a bunch of noise. Adeline is a rescue she is the sweetest girl around, all she needs is cuddles and some snacks.

There have been a few studies around this and it turns out that just like us, dogs have a preferred hand (well, paw) to lead with. You can find out whether your dog is left or right-pawed by giving them their favourite toy or interactive game and seeing which paw they use to help them first.

Hello! My name is Janzen and just want to give a little bit about myself!
Dogs of all shapes and sizes have been loving members of my family since I was a kid. I have based my career around working with animals, specifically dogs, and am looking to start the next chapter of that passion. I have worked in an animal shelter, helping train and prepare dogs to find their forever families and homes. I also have experience working for a larger doggie daycare and boarding facility making sure all furry family members are taken care as if my own. I am animal CPR certified, with the ability to administer different medications to pets (carprofen, fluozetine, bordatella vaccine, rabies vaccine), and have extensive dog training experience. I am currently enrolling into a dog training certification course to help me better help the animals I love to work with!

I am working towards shifting my schedule full time to helping clients in need of doggie daycare and boarding, on my own. I'm available Sunday - Saturday for early morning to evening hours, and am very flexible with my schedule for anyone's needs.

I am capable and trained to handle dogs of all sizes and ages, and have trainings on how to properly leash and walk dogs with a variety of temperaments and walking styles. I also am very comfortable with letting animals get comfortable with me on their level and taking the time to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
