Part two of processing Turkey tail mushroom tincture. Here we have the hot water extraction, a tea if you will. We gave the Turkey tail mushroom a hot water bath in distilled water. Stay tuned for processing them together into the final product.

Here is the alcohol extract of the Turkey Tail mushroom. Notice the beautiful color. We use 190 proof organic cane alcohol. Next step is the hot water extraction. Stay tuned…

Bulk substrate sterilization

Once cookers reach 15 psi they cook for 2.5 hours to kill off any contaminates. Once cooled we can inoculate with grain spawn 🍄 Cooking 320 lbs of bulk substrate today.
