Need day care for 3-4 days next week beginning next Tuesday. We live in Kula and are having repairs done and don't want her to stress out being under foot with all the workers.
"Bashka" is sweet and playfull 40lb 2, almost 3 year old. She likes other dogs and people. Thank you

Please consider any size donation to these folks, both of whom serve on our Friends board. They work tirelessly helping animals on Maui. Naturally they are very busy these days and can always use funds for food, Vet bills, etc. Thank you!

Valley Isle Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization that does emergency animal rescue from 5 pm to 7 am, when other organizations are not available to respond. We answer police and fire department calls when there is an emergency with an animal involved and calls from individuals like you to help...

If you are Upcountry and need assistance with your animals due to the fire, call our HUMANE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS at 808-877-3680 ext. 222! We can help transport animals: dogs, cats, small animals, goats, horses (we have trailers!)

As of now (8am Tues), Maui Humane Society does not need public assistance. We will keep you posted. Please help your friends and family in Upcountry! Additionally, if you have not prepared an emergency bag for your pets, please do so!

Okay, Fred here. Our Island home is in big trouble. I have snagged urls to form a nexus of giving and helping. Maui Phoenix Rising.com and .org will not be raising funds but rather referring everyone to sites that are trustworthy. If you know of pets that need fostering, there will be info about how we can all help. Together we can get our Paradise back.
