We're very excited that the 2024 season is off to a great start! We will be at the Middle TN poultry/bird/rabbit swap on Saturday 3/9 with miscellaneous bantam chicks and a few bantam roosters that we have left from last season's hatches. This is a great opportunity to pick out your birds and chat with us in person! The flyer for the swap with the address and information is below. We're looking forward to seeing familiar and new faces 😊

We have 51 chicks! We're letting the incubator continue to run to see if any more are still going to hatch. So far they're all doing great, we will post on Monday 3/4 with how many will be ready for brooders by 3/7.

We are also excited about our new brooder setup! It's still a work in progress and everyone loves a good repurpose, but the chicks have been happy and cozy 😊

Our girls have been working hard! In Gotham City(flock #4) Cookie and Hazel quickly became broody 😅 We decided to put the 30 eggs from beneath them in the incubator, plus a few more to begin our second hatch for 2024!

We're looking forward to next week when the big batch begins to hatch! Stay tuned!

Today is days 6-8 for our first incubation of 2024! We have candled them all and added up what are growing and are expecting up to 78 chicks! This is our first hatch expecting a few STANDARD sized mixes as well. They will be ready for their own brooders by 3/7. We are definitely excited to see what the flocks give us and you all this season!

We're so excited to hatch from our new flock, Gotham City, this season! This flock's focus is Cochin, Frizzles, and Bantam Brahmas. We have a few Silkie mixes and an Easter Egger in there as well!

For those that have been patiently waiting, we started our first hatch for the 2024 season tonight! We will candle in a week to see how many take and keep everyone posted 🙂

As usual, once they hatch in 3 weeks, we will hold them for the first week to make sure they are off to a healthy start before they can go to their new brooders.

Winter so far has certainly kept us busy 😅 We had a roof collapse in from the weight of the snow and have a temporary solution until we can fix it. Now the poor flocks have been in swamps, but we're making improvements/solutions and the chickens are all doing great!

🚨2024 Flock List🚨

Hey everyone! We have grown a lot in 2023 and thought we would make a list explaining how our flocks are arranged for the 2024 season. We have 4 flocks of different varieties & typically hatch both pure breed and mixed breed chicks. This will be our last season trying with the Sebrights, and our first season to hatch some standard size chicks!

We are looking forward to begin hatching for March!

Hey everyone! We just wanted to take some time to thank all new customers we've met this year, as well as our returning customers! This has been our busiest year so far, and we have been and will continue to be working on a few things to be able to meet some more of the demand when we go into Spring of 2024!

We will no longer be hatching in 2023, but will continue with updates on what we still have available from our hatches this year. As a friendly reminder, we will NEVER ask you for a deposit or a down payment on our live chickens or eggs for sale. We will meet you in a common public place for biosecurity and safety reasons within a reasonable distance, as we are a small operation and work full time jobs as well.

We are very excited to see what 2024 has in store from our flocks! Have a warm, safe, and joyful holiday season! 🙂

We've had more frizzles hatch this year and this one is a great sneak peak to us having more fun colored frizzles available next spring, as we now have 5 frizzle hens in our flocks! Can't wait for the update of this one full grown!
