Hank, a nine-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, was having neck pain. After an MRI, he was found to have a right-sided contrast-enhancing cervical mass. Dr. Moeser and his team were able to help Hank with his pain and help him continue to enjoy his best life. Click to read his story.

Hank, a nine-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, underwent successful surgery and radiation treatment for a meningioma in his cervical spine. After debulking the tumor, he is now living pain-free and enjoying life, with the mass expected to regrow slowly. Learn more about Hank's journey and recovery.

Hero is so much more than just his name!

Hero is a five-year-old Belgian Malinois who serves the community as a part of the Marathon County Sheriff's Office. Hero came to Wisconsin Veterinary Neurology and Surgical Center after an injury incurred during training. Dr. Moeser performed an MRI and surgery.

A not so uncommon cause of neurologic symptoms in young animals (puppies, kittens) is hepatic encephalopathy due to a portosystemic shunt. A portosystemic shunt is when the venous blood coming from the intestines bypasses the liver through an abnormal connection (shunt) between the portal vein and systemic circulation.
