These adorable kittens have been with us for about three weeks now. We believe them to be between 8-9 weeks of age. They have been Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, dewormed and age-appropriate vaccines. They are ready now. 2 are female and 2 are male. Two are social and the other two are a little reserved but beginning to trust.

4TH OF JULY TIPS
Fireworks and festivities are fun for us, but can be
quite stressful for our pets. If your pet fears loud noises,
create a safe space with curtains closed and the TV on.
Planning a barbecue? Keep raw meats, bones, onions,
and corn on the cob away from your pal.
Be sure if your pet suffers from the noise of the fireworks, call the clinic to discuss medication options.
Be sure your pets microchip contact information is up to date in the case he/she scurries off in fear.

Do not leave your dogs outside unattended.
Unfortunately, in the last week, we have had 2 patients come in after being attacked by a deer.
Typically a deer will not approach a dog, but this is the time of year that they are very protective of their babies as they begin to explore their world. A dog unknowingly getting too close to their area can pose a risk and the momma deer will do what she needs to protect them.
Be safe, be observant and don’t feed the deer.
