Toby was a brave boy at his visit here at EVE Pet Hospital.

Even when your pet has to have a minor procedure, our technicians are there every step of the way! Mckinley took great care of Toby during his visit and he went home feeling much better.

Urethral Obstruction or being "blocked" is a common emergency we see in male cats. This condition needs to be treated by a veterinarian immediatley, otherwise it can quickly become life threatening.

Despite her name, Mango enjoys plums. So much so, that she ate a plum pit. We were able to induce vomiting to prevent a potential obstruction.

We understand that emergency visits can be stressful on our pets, especially puppies and kittens. We want to provide a positive experience in what could've otherwise been a scary one which ultimately will help pets in the long run.

Thanks to our amazing technician Angel, Mango received so much love and attention during her visit she forgot why she was here in the first place!

Dani approved of the accommodations provided during her visit. She made herself nice and comfy in our cat ward, which is separated from the dogs to avoid additional stress during the visit. She even received hugs from our technicians!

Max came to see us at after his mom found that he had a loose tooth. Our doctor found it was a baby tooth and safely removed it. Max left feeling good as new!

TRIGGER WARNING- OPEN WOUNDS!!!

Shelby was seen here at EVE Pet Hospital for swollen mammary glands after licking at herself. The very next day, Shelby returned because she had caused this self-inflicted injury overnight. After almost a month of wound care and revisions, Shelby is back to her normal self!

Shelby was a wonderful patient, and we want to thank her family for trusting our team at EVE Pet Hospital with her care! We are thrilled to see Shelby happy and healed!

Meet Bo. 💙🐾
Bo was sent to us by ARISE for a foreign body. Unfortunately, the foreign body, which ended up being a pacifier, got stuck in his intestines and needed surgical removal. Bo was given lots of attention and cuddles before and after his surgery. He is now home and recovering well.

Penelope thinks the gum she ate was super yummy and doesn't know what the big fuss is about. 🐾
Penelope's owner did the right thing by bringing her to EVE Pet Hospital. Some gum contains artificial sweeteners like Xylitol and can be toxic to our pets! Xylitol can be in any "sugar free" product or even in something labeled "natural" like Peanut Butter. It also is listed as Birch Sugar in some products as well!

Thankfully, Penelope's gum did not contain Xylitol so she went home happy and healthy!

If you are concerned that your pet ingested anything that could contain xylitol, come in right away so we can start the proper treatment.

Nitro was seen here at EVE Pet Hospital earlier this month when he wasn't feeling very good. During our investigation to get to the bottom of this, we found through radiographs that he had something stuck in his stomach. Off to surgery we went!

Nitro is feeling so much better and is doing so good at home! We are so happy with the progress he's made, and he's been a wonderful patient!

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the impact we can make in these pets, and their families lives!

Our team successfully delivered all 7 English Bulldogs via c-section.
Mom and puppies all went home happy and healthy. We are hoping for the best for all of them 💜

GUESS THE FOREIGN BODY!
This sweet girl, Stella was presented for vomiting and constipation. Radiographs were taken to see what could be going on. The x-ray revealed that Stella had something (or a lot of somethings) in her stomach.
To surgery she went!

In some areas of Arizona, it is against the law to hike with your pet if it is over 100 degrees! This is because it is very easy for your furry friend to get overheated and that can be potentially life threatening. It is best to keep them at home and wait until it cools down before having them join you on a outdoor adventure.

Your dog is never too old for the Toad Talk. 🐸
Sonoran Toads (also known as Colorado River Toads) are in Arizona, New Mexico, and California. They come out around monsoon season and have a slime like secretion that is poisonous to dogs! Make sure to seek immediate veterinary care if you suspect your dog has come in contact with one as it can be life threatening!
